I personally respect when a writing team actually puts in the work when the original idea is to just sell merchandise. Shows a care and passion in the product that would not have worked if they were just aiming to earn a quick buck.

Lizzie and Daring are my OTP for this show. Especially including the books. Lizzie was the only one who didn't immediately swoon over Daring, and she was the only one who he was even really interested in. Once they spend some time together, Lizzie starts liking him too. This ship was really underrated, and deserved a lot more screen time.

most of the girls have artificial curls anyways. Like i think that Apple has those "princess curls" because they're bouncy and round and they emulate that porcelain doll look she has going on as well as the apple theme. For Raven, she's still a princess so she has to keep up appearances and i think its just the end of her hair are curly, just to give it some depth. I think the only girls with actual curls/waves are Holly, Maddie, Justine, Lizzie, and Briar. There are probably more but they came to my head first

i agree with the pulling along romance plots. but something I find really cool was how Cupid is literally the daughter of the symbol of romance, but cant get romance. its interesting how she can only make others fall in love.

I usually hate most love triangles but the one with Cupid, Dexter, and Raven wasn't amazing, but it wasn't terrible either. I'm not sure what Cupid is like in Monster high because I haven't watched it, but in Ever after high I think shes an underrated character. Cupid is very sweet, helpful, and is good at giving advice to the other characters. And not just romance advice. In the episode where Blondie is conflicted over whether she is a royal or not, Cupid gives her the advice that it doesn't matter whether she is a royal or a rebel, she has the choice to choose who she wants to be. Cupid is also a bit of a tragic character because she focuses so much on helping others find their happily ever afters and one true love, even at her own expense. She helps Dexter and Raven get together even though she has a crush on Dexter herself. Honestly I think Cupid was a very sweet and cheerful character and I think she deserves more love than she gets.

Lizzie is amazing in A Wonderlandiful World. She really misses Wonderland and feels like a loss of a pillar to her people and tries to stay strong even without their support. She's my favorite character alongside Briar.

Ever After High is so much more than a doll commercial which really sets it apart from other promotional doll shows. It's not only a refreshing take on fairy tales going to high school or the modernized fairy tale trope, it also promotes girl power in a not so in your face or obnoxious way. I like that neither Royals or Rebels are completely good or evil, they're just kids with conflicting opinions over their societies traditions and both sides just want the best outcome. There's lore, story, engaging adventures and the characters are not only fabulous and interesting to look at, but they have substance and individuality. And oh my god, the guys have development and personalities too and are not just classic boys who sometimes engage with the main female leads! God, Charming is my favorite character because he's not just the jock older brother, but a conflicted person who honestly falls for the people he truly cares about. (I know he has several different love interests, but all of them are genuine and sweet and honestly I ship them all)

In Maddie’s hat-tasting party, I think the plot directly clashes with the spring unsprung plot. Maybe they should change it so the grove provides comfort for the wonderland characters, and helps them with home sickness? (This is just my personal criticism)

The grove exists just in case they can't go to wonderland to fulfil their destinies after graduation, but also to provide comfort and to help with home sickness. Lizzie actually loves planting there and the hedgehogs lives there. It's stated in A Wonderlandiful World and the bookmark that came with Lizzie's doll.

Rewatching and hearing The daughter of the Red Queen sorta made me think about something she’s my fav but I’m her exact opposite. I’m sorta the inverse of Lizzie, I need keep my kind hearted warm Persona and hide cold side. I have the white and blue color scheme. But as much we are different I relate when it comes to dating and needing to be honest about my true feeling. Also not following the rules to a T. I got embrace my inner wonderland and that mean as well “Off with your head!!!

After watching "Lizzie Hearts' Fairytale First Date", I shipped Daring and Lizzie (aka Dizzie) for the longest time! Well, until another major ship featuring Daring got its turn in the spotlight, but that's beside the point. I love that you're bringing attention to this fableous franchise even though it's been pretty dead for, like, 5 years now. Can't wait to see you cover Thronecoming, Spring Unsprung, Dragon Games and all the other fabulousness this series has to offer :D

Duchess Swan maybe a royal and daughter of the Swan Princess but she is not sweet, innocent or friendly in Ever After High Season 2. I don't know why Duchess Swan despise Ashlynn so much in True Hearts Day special or trying to ruin Ashlynn's relationship with Hunter, maybe she's a bitter and jealous that everyone have someone special and she doesn't which is why she doesn't have any friends at Ever After High Series except for Faybelle Thorn.

The thing about the point that your making about duchess is that it is realistic. An individual has very little impact on the environment as 70% of pollution is due to corporations, and the lesson that you’re proposing instead relies on the fact that the store didn’t know something was wrong and they don’t know how to fix it, both of which would never be true of any corporation. Still a good video though the message would’ve been better if it was something like students not cleaning up after a party. Btw the visuals were really good.

I totally get what you mean with a different environmental msg for Duchess’s lake but imo that episode is one of my favourites. I think the slime and ‘villain’ corporate frog thing represent metaphorically the bigger picture of how large corporations are one of the biggest downfalls to earth’s health and it doesn’t feel like Duchess Swan is like the Venus McFlytrap of EAH lmao so either keep this episode as it is or make another one with the plot you suggested but using a different character such as Cedar, Ashlyn or maybe even Cerise

if i could really quickly speak on duchess swan lake, while the idea you suggested in place of it WAS good, i feel like part of the original message was... lost in a way? like, the thing is that people not recycling is NOT the main contributor to things like pollution, or global warming, or other environmental issues. its large corporations slimy practices that ultimately lead to these things, and the government's refusal to do anything about it is what makes it worse and allows it to continue. the idea that recycling will save the planet is a false one that was advertised to us by those very people who truly hurt the environment to make us think that we can do something about it without taking it up with them. and while, yes, recycling and cutting down on plastics is ABSOLUTELY an important thing to do, it is even more to important to draw attention to the these issues and who's fault it really is, and to, most importantly, VOTE. (also, it should also be noted that getting rid of single-use plastic entirely is not a good idea, as MANY people, specifically disabled people, need things such as plastic straws to most comfortably live their lives.) but yeah, i think that eah's and lots of other childrens show's portrayal of pollution isn't all too bad. it may sound strange at first, but, captain planet is still the most accurate piece of media that portrays environmental issues to date, because it depicts all the villains as rich people and corporations who just... don't care about how their actions are affecting the planet. because it just doesnt make a difference in their lives either way. and that's exactly what the real cause of pollution is. rich people who are so rich that nothing else can touch them. btw, not at all mad at u for this, bc a LOT of people just simply dont know about these sort of things. but i think its important to inform ppl when i think i can, especially people i respect so much like you

The summary of the family tree episode made me realise something weird... Like if the characters are supposed to follow their parents stories and, say girl A's mom married boy B's dad ... That means A and B ar at best step sibbling with no actual blood link (but it goes a bit against the happy ever after the parents are supposed to have has) and supposed to get married... weird (maybe it's touched upon later, but the fact hte took the time to say the Charming are not related and quietly ignore that point is weird...)
