Gosh I miss going into a store as a kid and heading straight for the Hasbro Star Wars action figures. For less than 20 dollars you could get a figure that had full mobility in all of their joints, you could take their helmet off, switch their blaster or lightsaber, and some would clme with a blaster crate with different blasters. Ever since Disney took over the franchise the quality devreased significantly. The figures had little to no mobility, and the "Black Series" were 50+ dollars with mobility in most joints, but twice the size as the Pre-Disney figures. Such a shame.

Save for some exceptions, I am not an 'on-card' collector and I didn't realize up until now that the Kenner logo was already gone from the SW cards by the year 1999. I had previously thought that there was "Kenner" on them till 2001 when Hasbro ultimately decided to shut the subsidiary down after 10 years.

Where did Kenner get the idea of 3.75 inch Star Wars action figure size? Fisher Price had a toy line in the mid 70's of firemen and policemen etc with similar limited articulation. 3.5 to 3.75 size. Called The Adventure People. I have a couple of them and they do have the same look in the body shape, face and hands.

I stopped collecting proper in 2002, have every figure up to that point. In the UK it became almost impossible to find any figures. Loads of cards you’ve shown here I’ve never even seen.

The best thing about this video was knowing that Retroblasting Michael will watch it and get ticked off by the tiny errors you made, and yell into his Kylie Minogue pillow. He calls himself creative, but he thinks like a puppet and thinks Sebastian Stan looks like Mark Hamill and should play Luke Skywalker, and that a Harrison Ford impersonator could actually act as Han Solo.

Some Rise of Skywalker stuff did come out, but beyond Vintage Collection, no 3.75 scale. I ended up with a "Galaxy of Adventures First order Trooper and Treadspeeder" ("They Fly Now") by mistake. About 5".
