The sax comes professionally tuned in A440 so you can play with others or use to record.
I used the Tenor All Terrain Sax for the background music and played the Alto on the video.
The mouthpiece can easily be cleaned with soap and water or alcohol. Reeds will need to be replaced and are available in music stores. I recommend using a Tenor 1 1/2 reed.
The Tenor is tuned in G major which can play in A minor, and C.
The Alto plays in Bb major, C minor and Eb.
The C Sax plays in C major, D minor, F and Am.
The Soprano plays in D major and also plays in Em, G and Bm.

can you play indian classical raagas like playing flutes? indian flutes also have 6 holes.

The great thing about bamboo flutes it the ability to play 2 octaves. Our saxes are one octave instruments. So this is a limitation. That said, many who are professional musicians own them. Some in the audio work making commercials and movies in L. A., some played in jazz clubs, some took them on tour, like Yanni's Tribute Concert. Regards, Erik

Hi Andrea: I am using an Alto sax mouth piece. I do not recommend that you use yours as it is on a metal fitting. But you can try. I also recommend you use a tenor 1 1/2 reed on all my saxes. Muxh easier to pay them. Erik

I have a question. I'm new to this and bought a tenor in the key of G. Can it play flat notes and sharp notes? (this could be a silly question but I like to double check things). I really love this saxophone by the way! It's only been 3 days.

Alas, my soprano Bamboo Sax must have suffered some temp change and it developed a hairline crack. :-( Maybe it's time to upgrade to an All Terrain? What is the most common Key used, if you want to play accompaniment (with piano or guitar) in a church setting? Hymns?

Hi Rob: I get a lot of millage with the Soprano. But you have one. Which you can return for repairs. I also use my G a lot on Sundays. Plays in G major, C and A minor. I also use my C which also plays in D minor, A minor and F. Pianos seem to do a lot in C. guitars in G and Am. So the tenor in G would be nice. Regards, Erik
