Ever Wonder WHAT GETS CAUGHT In Shrimp Nets BESIDES SHRIMP!?

SOME PRETTY COOL STUFF!
I got to spend a morning on a research vessel belonging to the GEORGIA DNR Coastal Resources Division. We did some sampling around Sapelo Island. These biologist collect all sorts of data from these sampling excursions. One of the more important things they do is study shrimp and dictate the opening and closing of Georgia's SHRIMP SEASON.
I am always impressed by all of the top notch people in all of the divisions of Georgia DNR! Special thanks to the folks at CRD for allowing me to tag along!
