The intense one is so lasting, I sprayed a bit of it on my arm and I could smell it all day. Plus when I showered it still was there. Such an amazing perfume.

@@jujri No, maybe it has a bit of dna from the og in the beggining (about 30 seconds) after that its a tottaly different scent .

love both of these perfumes! The original is more versatile and can be worn all year round, and it’s a fruity vanilla that smells like amber florals & fresh too. It doesn’t smell too sweet and it has a sophisticated & grown up scent. The intense is like the original’s older sister that is more mysterious as in its perfect for a night out and in the fall and winter. I love how they both have vanilla in them and that they are both amber florals, they are definitely grown woman perfumes without smelling elderly or juvenile.

I don’t detect the similarity between Donna Born in Toma and Paradoxe. The floral notes are different. Paradoxe is pretty to me. Donna Born in Roma is sexy to me.

I just smelled the Intense one 2 weeks ago, and my oh my, it was love at first sniff. I gotta have that bottle asap! It does give me that warm, coconut, and cozy vibes which I felt suited my taste more when mixed with the DNA of the original. Weirdly, I have a love-hate relationship with the original. I tried a sample before, and it just smells so different on paper compared to when sprayed on my skin. Really tried to "love" it since it's one of the most hyped scents wherever I look. Unfortunately, it just reminds me of a detergent or fabric softener that my mom uses.

Wowzer, I’ve been sampling and testing what I thought was the men’s Born In Roma Intense, and went to purchase a bottle. Found out it was the woman’s!!! Wtf?! I was tricked by the sales lady! However, I don’t care what anyone says. It’s smells so good and seductive! I’m about to purchase a bottle anyways. This is a unisex scent! I’m digging the womans Intense for sure! Could be the best mistake all of 2023 😂😂😂

i have them both and find myself using the original more. I am about to start my third bottle of the original and am about finished with the Intense as well. The original is a lighter, more joyous fragrance in my opinion.

You have swayed me! I went to test the Edp a few weeks ago but the tester had been smashed (by qccident, I was told), so they only had the Intense tester... I fell in love with it and purchased it on the spot! Today after going backwards and forwards with the decision to blind buy the edp I've just gone and purchased the 100ml because why not?! YOLO, right? I'll update in a few days 😂

I have the orginal Born In Roma, and the main scent I get is smokey, spicy, woody. It smells very Autumnal to me. I dont get light or fresh, its deep and woody to me. The Vanilla mixed with the Guaiac Wood reminds me of marshmallows and campfire. The fruity notes sit right under the woody notes. I dont get any of the floral notes in the original.

to me the original donna born in roma has a very distinct woodiness to it that I love! I also love the black currant note in it, which gives it a very juicy quality, and the jasmine and vanilla are very soft and not super noticable. I think it's one of the prettiest perfumes I've ever smelled, sadly the other flankers from the line never really worked for me.

The darker bottle to me smelled like old grannies at first. The scent started to smell nice only a couple hours later. That's why I went with the light bottle.

Car fragrance? not at all, not even close. I guess everyone’s body chemistry is different. I do not smell any coconut in it either.

It's the Jasmin, they used that big tropical one, I've smelled it in the Caribbean and it leans coconutty, it's quite gorgeous!

Depends on what you like, but personally I have tried both and I prefer the Born in Roma Intense. Black Opium is very recognizable but to me, feels very cloying after a while.

I refuse to get black opium because of the name lol 😅 it smells nice and with the noted it sounds like a perfume up my ally, but black opium doesn’t feel appropriate for a perfume name. Born In Roma original & Intense are both good perfumes and cheaper than Black Opium

Nice view point. I have both of these fragrances and I prefer the original Donna Born in Roma to the Intense version. However, I do like the intense but agree that it may be better in the Fall and Winter months. 🩷
