Everest Base Camp Acclimatization Day: Namche Bazaar

Join , Dean Cardinale as he goes over our acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. When we get to Namche (11,500') it is important to spend two nights so our bodies can properly acclimatize before we ascend higher. We keep busy on our extra day around the village. We visit the Namche Monastery where the local lama does a special blessing for our group called a Puja Ceremony. This blessing wishes us safe travel as we continue up the valley. We also visit the Tenzing Norgay memorial statue and the local Sherpa Cultural Museum. Guests have the chance to relax, see the a documentary film or wander around Namche in the afternoon. Tomorrow we continue up into the Khumbu Valley on our adventure to Everest Base Camp.
