THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF MY BEST DAY AT EVERGLADE CITY FOR THE ONES THAT DON'T KNOW EVERGLADE CITY ITS ABOUT 1-3 MILES FROM CHOKOLOSKEE SAME WATER COLOR AND FISH, I WAS USING 1/4-1OZ WHITE BALL JIG HEAD WITH GULP- SWIMMING MULLET 4" AND ALSO 5",,, WHITE AND NEW PENNY COLOR ARE MY FAVORITE BUT MOST COLORS LIKE GREEN, BROWN AND OTHERS I HAVE USED ON THIS WATERS HAD WORK GREAT FOR ME IN THE PAST, I ALSO LOVE MV3BAITS BUCKTAILS BUT I DIDN'T HAD ANY WITH ME ☹, LINKS FOR THE THIS ITEMS BELOW, LINE 20LBS SUFIX 832 WITH A 3FOOT LEADER OF 20LBS FLOUROCARBON, REEL I USED THE MOST A ABU GARCIA BLACK MAX BAIT CASTING, CHEAP BUT VERY AWESOME REEL, PAIR WITH A RHINO THOUGH 6'6'' MEDIUM HEAVY I DIDN'T FIND A LINK FOR THIS ITEM I BOUT IT AT WALMART. BUT THE ABU GARCIA BLACK MAX COMES WITH A REALLY NICE ROD THAT I BROKE WITH MY CAR DOOR ☹ I ALSO USE MY STRADIC 3000 FOR SMALL LURES AND SHIMANO SARAGOSA 5000 FOR MUCH BIGGER LURES. Great vid Ricky....i hear ya about the legallity of your catch. That question comes up alot here in PA...And how it is here is, if you catch your limit, (edit- unless you catch and release ) you must release any following, unharmed. Giving a fish to another angler counts towards both fishermans limit...the one that caught it, and the one possesing it...The only difference I see between fresh and salt water basically is vessel limit...in this case, you're each in a different vessel, which, in my opinion, you exceeded your limit...The way explained to me is, to prevent someone from catching 20 fish and giving away as they're caught. Saltwater vesell limit, i believe is because the boat is working as a whole, and the catch is sharred amongst everyone on the boat...on freshwater charters, the boat can also catch the captains and mates limit also, even if they don't fish. I've done that in PA and Ohio. Hope this helps explain things...Tight lines 😎
