Snook & Tarpon on Topwater in the Everglades

Roland is my hero. He has helped keep the sport of fishing alive and well. He has made a large contribution to the fishing world. They say that, on average, you land one in four Tarpon hooked. He is still so excited to hook a fish. It is harder to hook Tarpon with topwater but so much fun. Thanks Rolland.

I thought we stopped gaffing Tarpon ? Don't like to see people still using a gaff', just use the S.S Baker hook out tool ! Then you can get hook out without getting hooked, plus you can keep fish in water. I crush the barbs down on the trebles, it's safer for me and the fish. Makes it easy to release without ripping a big hole in the fish or my finger. I really enjoyed it when I worked at World Wide Sportsman, everyone telling fishing stories.
