Blackpink songs are created to suit each members voice specifically , hence it being quite difficult to make a cover . Everglow , in my opinion, did a great job in doing so . Definitely compared to other covers I’ve seen .

I don’t think it sounds weird bc it’s not their song it’s their pitch while singing it that throws me off and blackpink switches between Korean and English a lot in their songs so for the rest of the ever glow members who don’t speak English let alone sing/rap in it, it’s going to sound off so imagine switching between your native language and a language that you don’t speak while singing, it’s gonna sound off❤️.

@@manifest3695 Tbh I don't think that's the case. Everglow recently covered Butter by BTS and that's a male group song, yet they sounded really great. The thing is that Everglow voices don't suit BLACKPINK's voices which I'm not even surprised since BLACKPINK girls have very different voices from each other and in general they have pretty unique voices. We literally have Jisoo with a deep and husky voice, Jennie with her powerful and kinda "cold" (If I can even say it like that) tone to her voice, Rosé with a very angelic, soulful voice and Lisa with a swaggy, yet at the same time cute and youthful voice. Besides the voices, BLACKPINK just like every YG artists have a very unique aura that is hard to copy. Their dances are easy, but the way they perform them makes them enjoyable to watch. I'm not a professional dancer, but I watched a reaction video from a dancer and if I'm not wrong he called it body lines or something (Please correct me if I'm wrong). It's the way they dance which makes them able to pull of such dances and make them good to watch. AND TO BE CLEAR! I'm not saying Everglow can't dance or something since they surely can, but I think they just lacked that "YG aura". I love both groups and I think it was a very brave choice from Everglow to cover BLACKPINK's song and that's something they deserve an applause for. They did their best and that's why I'm proud.

He visto que varias personas cometan cosas como: "No se crean blackpink" etc, etc, etc. Y dejenme decirles que ellas en ningún momento pretenden ser como Blackpink, simplemente decidieron hacer un cover de un grupo al que tienen total admiración ¿Hay algo malo con eso? ¿Por qué son tan groseros y no valoran el esfuerzo de los demás? Las chicas practicaron un montón para traernos este stage :( sean más empáticos y cuiden sus palabras por favor ♡. Otra cosa, a mi también me hubiera gustado escuchar el rap de Lisa, pero solo porque no lo incluyeron no me voy a poner a insultarlas y a decir que no tienen talento. Probablemente el motivo por el que no pudieron hacerlo; es que la presentación tenía que durar menos de 2:15 (pues tal vez el equipo de K-Contact solo permite eso, debido a que hay muchas otras presentaciones de otros grupos que deben ser puestas en el show/festival, y debe alcanzar el tiempo para todas ellas). Y si esa no fue la razón, que más da, lo importante es que las chicas se lucieron y dieron lo mejor de sí mismas 🥰. Algo que también me gustaría añadir, es que hay cometarios asegurando que le copiaron la ropa a Blackpink, y eso no es así. Para que el cover se viera más producido los estilistas decidieron ponerles outfits alusivos al estilo de How You Like That, pero eso no significa que tuvieran la intención de copiarles, usen el sentido común. Por otra parte, muchísimas gracias de corazón a aquellos blinks que están dejándoles cometarios bonitos, ustedes son lo más 🙌, es una lástima que no todos tengan esa buena actitud.
