Very well done kind sir. People don’t understand the relevance of our past. Whether it’s there, or anywhere. Those folks lived, loved, and died in a very different time than what we can imagine today. They paved the way for us all, and may they never be forgotten.

Just found your video on KZbin, thanks so much for a great history of Everett. Yeah, we climbed Rucker's tomb in 1971, it eas creepy, someone had pried the door open. We were respectful enough (and scared) to not go inside!

Hello! Not sure if questions are answered in the comment section, but thought I would try, and hopefully someone can provide some guidance 😊 I love to walk around Evergreen and look at all of the gravesites and wonder who the people buried there were, and what their lives were like. I took my kids to the new Emma Yule park today, and after reading the plaque about her, I decided to find her site at the cemetery. I had the privilege of meeting one of the groundskeepers, John, and after showing me where Ms. Yules grave was, he told me a few of the stories and recommended I check out the tours given a couple times a year… I was happy to find this video!! Anyways… my question is, does anyone know the schools here in Everett where Ms. Yule worked? I did a quick search on her, and it only says that she worked at “some schools”, and doesn’t give the names. Anywhoo, lovely video! Thank you for posting it!

Teddy Roosevelt came through Yakima as well, on his way to Seattle probably while campaigning.
