won't there be an issue of STCG tax with this strategy? Any suggestions on accounting for that?

Yes, STCG is applicable on short term gains beyond an exemption of first 1 lakh. This strategy is to put you into a habit of identifying stocks and even the post tax returns of 20-25% p.a. won't be very bad. So our focus is to increase our alpha, and happily pay tax. Hope that makes sense.
