JOHNNY CASH..God I loved this man. And, I love this tribute to him. The keyboard is awesome bringing new energy to the song and the "how you all do'in" man keeps it "mov'in". God, how I love Whitey Ford's vocal. Nobody else could do this but him. I'm in love again! Pure and perfect.

Everybody always said Johnny was like Elvis, he could play any song and make it his own. Trent Reznor said Johnny's version of Hurt was better than his own. Many people today do not realize that Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Elvis, and many others share in the honor of being in both the Country Music and Rock-n-Roll halls of fame...This video is, what I believe, a testament to their influence.

Erik got the Cash family seal of approval for this song BEFORE he released it to the public. They loved it. So all you fools complaining Johnny wouldn't have liked it don't know what you're talking about. It was done with the utmost respect, and I love the Cypress Hill squeal in it. Great mash up.

I actually saw Johnny Cash in concert in Chicago ILL when I was only 8 yrs old. I will never forget that very 1st concert....The train (on the big screen..heck this was back in the 70's) yes and the fact that Johnny Cash was this individual who went through hell and high water with his alcholoism but ended up helping others. I don't think JC would mind at all!

jll259 WHAAAAAA have you not heard Social Distortions cover of Ring of Fire....theres a reason why Mike Ness was the one Johnny gave permission to cover one of his songs. Only one band covered Johnny Cash legally while he was alive Soundgarden covered one without permission so Johnny did Rusty Nails without permission
