The Powerlock is Everlast's "Hard Hitter" and by far one of the most popular pairs of gloves on the market today. There is a synthetic leather version you can get at your local sporting goods store but these are the professional grade leather version of the Powerlock. Multiple world champions in different sports use these gloves and in my opinion have become "Ol Reliable" in the world of boxing gloves. These gloves suit just about everybody and I think you'll see why in the video!

i just got myself a pair of 12oz power lock gloves but in a different colour however you say they only last 1-2 years… that is not very good but i see you put a lot of time and effort into the videos and i appreciate it and greetings from SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦

Oh wow! South Africa that's awesome! Yes, I see tons of athletes have multiple pairs of Powerlocks because they break apart relativley quickly compared to other gloves BUT they are a good pair

i noticed that the white and gold colorway has a slightly different thumb and hand position vs the older grey and red model or even the black and gold. I have had a pair of white and gold for about 4 years and they have held up great on the bags and mitts. i feel like they are slightly more durable... and the gold hasnt peeled at all. they do have a different serial number and tag than the different colors too i feel like they are made slightly better

Just ordered these man because they’re sold at a reasonable price and are very good gloves which is why I have chosen them for my sparring gloves, this has broken a lot of speaks of the glove and can’t wait to receive them 🥊

@@GG-pm6cd at 12-16oz these gloves are completely worth it, Everlast don’t disappoint and are perfect for heavy bag work, pad work and most importantly sparing, very cheap and very good 100 percent recommend, I have a second pair in a different colour in 8oz, I use the 8s for mainly pad work, love the feel of it and are just elite gloves with price and demand (8-10oz they need to be worn in, they come a bit tight on hand, after one session they will expand and absorb onto your hand from the sweat creating the best protection given)

Hey! I'm a beginner/intermediate boxer and I am looking for really good gloves that will not be destroyed after a year of use. Also I've got a pair of Twins BGVL3 and use them for sparring. Do you recommend these in a velcro version for a second pair for bag and mitt work? Will they last at least a year in a good shape? I love your videos, you're doing great job. Twins work great as an all around glove for sure my friend! IF you are looking for a pair of gloves that will last you a while and you like twins, I heavily recommend looking into Windy gloves. Ironically, Twins is actually famed for kinda stealing Windy's design but in my opinion...Windy is a bit better lol. And wow from Poland! That is incredible! I never thought I would ever span out to a foreign country like that! Thank you for watching my friend!

Yeahhh unfortunately Everlast sometimes has the bad reputation nick name of "Neverlast" ever since the Golomb family sold it years ago

I will eventually start getting the fight gloves due to multiple requests. I just never saw the point. Amateur fight gloves sure because the padding is so thick and dense but pro fight gloves are realistically designed for 20 rounds at most. However, technology does keep improving

Hey man, I got the same pair in black couple days ago. Do you think they are still useable on the heavybag when they wear out? Or will I break my hands with these after a while? I'm a heavy guy who loves to throw powershots.

They are great bag gloves when they wear out. It is kinda funny, they turn from a big defensive style glove to a punchers glove for me when that happens but the foam is dense enough for your safety! I would not spar with them when they wear out though.

Unfortunately I couldn't test them for sparring yet because of "corono" 😑 But I think they will perform perfectly :) Btw. could you do a review on the Everlast MX fight gloves in the future?

Hey man, what can you say about classic 1910 sparring gloves , i can buy them for 90€ . Is it worth or i should get powerlocks for 80. Id really apreciate an answer since i cant find any reviews so maybe u heard something about those gloves.

I just got power locks and did a review of them on my channel. Was also thinking of getting the 1910's, but they've got that mesh on the front which I think can tear. So I don't think they'll last as long. Hope that helps

Great gloves aside from leather quality. Brand new pair and the left glove looks like a knockoff compared to the right. Luckily I have to replace gloves often and won't have to deal with it in a few months time.

@@jeffhardyy for me, hand compartment is so small, padding is extremely stiff right off the bat and doesn't break in. My hands are durable but they have such a weird curve to the knuckles that it almost feels designed as if they want my hand to snap in 18 places. On top of other issues I have, they're also incredibly small framed gloves for me. Very top heavy, not a ton of wrist support and the leather is pretty weak. There are some great fighting gloves but if you're going to get a winning clone...by the 9 divines stay away from these

Most people have no real reason to own anything outside of 16oz gloves. They will never reach the level of competition that allows the lighter gloves. Worry about light horse hair gloves when you are prepping for your first real fight, not gym sparring.
