Maidana has the Legal Right, both with the commission and on the contract to wear the Red gloves. I like Leonard, but he is speaking foolishness. Legally, he should know that his opinions on gloves is meaningless. Maidana legally could sue them for breach of contract, and easily win the suit. Reps and sales people are the same thing, they won't say anything bad about their product even if there is something wrong with it. Mayweather clearly showed what was wrong and demonstrated it to everyone, the camera doesn't lie, seeing is believing. Some of their gloves could be made in different countries with lower standards of quality control, everybody knows when something is cheap their is a reason for that. Mayweather clearly demontrated they hadn't enough padding and the knuckle was protruding on the outside of the glove, common sense shows the gloves hadn't enough padding. Castillo deserved his rematch and he did fight a bit dirty, hitting low a few times but he wasn't in Maidana's league for dirty tactics. Castillo was a very good tough fighter, I still think he gave Floyd his toughest fight, I scored the first fight a draw but he clearly lost the second one. Maidana doesn't deserve a rematch, he fights dirty and they want the controversial gloves in the rematch, I hope Floyd sees sense and tells him get lost, give Khan his shot, he fights within the rules.
