Everlast DID win. Lmao. His delivery game on the mic was MUCH more confident, calm, & collective. Like he didn't need to prove shit to Eminem. Meanwhile, Eminem came off as desperate and whiny with his lyricism & his ENTIRE raps - plus he had to rip off "Hit 'Em Up" by Tupac & get D12 to help his ass. It's obvious Em tried way too hard with his shit, to the point where he ended up coming off as, over-fabricated and hard to take seriously... Let's look a this from the beginning and from a non-biased perspective, Everlast dissed him in the Dilated Peoples song because Em is a shock value rapper, Everlast is not as he is old skool. He called him out because Em is a candy rapper built to sound mean an crude, but is as fake as most of them. Em didn't like it even though the Dilated Peoples song wasn't heard by too many to really hurt Em's status with the general public because lets face it, the general public listens to what record companies tell them to listen to. To these two songs, Em's diss really only talks about the heart attack and Everlast's rock rap genre changeover, but that is it. D12 is irrelevant in this diss because if you got to use others to help diss someone then you aren't that good, say what you want. Then he busts out with the same stuff repeated over and over in the song and then uses a popular diss song from tupac so people are all into it.... very sad. Everlast at least keeps it original with his own beat, his own lyrics, and doesn't repeat stuff over and over, uses original content that is directly and indirectly related to Em. Everlast won this for originality and most of all better content, Em used a popular diss beat, repeated the same disses, and extras to help him so he loses for no originality. Both are good songs but only hardcore Eminem fans/younger kids will say Eminem won straight out. Now I will agree Eminem murdered Benzino if it makes you Em fans feel better.

I am a huge Everlast fan and always have been. I am also an Eminem fan, more recently converted. You can't debate that Eminem has superior skills but Everlast's disses are pure real talk and obviously hurted Eminem deeply. On the other hand Eminems disses were either completley lame or inapropriate ( Ev's heart insufficency) and were essentially like laughing about someone who has been born paralysed. Plus Everlast kept his cool while slim was clearly upset. So in my Opinion they were head to head!

There were two emcees, one was rapping in a high pitched voice, about murderous rampages, legit suicide attempts, lewed sex acts, legit drug abuse/addiction, and physical abuse issues with his stepfather. After his mother convinced a judge he had mutliple personality, he was sent to a psych ward for a two week evaluation...but kept for two years. The other emcee rapped like AZ and Nas on an album called The Infinite...his name was Eminem. After copying the previously mentioned members of The Firm, Marshall Mathers a.k.a Eminem, jacked the style and subject matter of NYC underground emcee, Cage Kennylz...and created Slim Shady. He became a cartoon gimmick of Chris Palkos real life, and became a superstar through shock rap, and dressing up like a woman from time to time. While he is extremely talented, he tends to make very corny music...rapping about putting gerbils up his ass comes to mind. After blowing up, he completely shunned the underground and signed 50 Cent and G-Unit. Obviously he knew a rapper that had been shot 9 times, would be a great selling point for all his white suburban fan boys. He had 3 albums that sold an insane amount, and a hit movie, why not shine some light on emcees that respresented more of where he was coming from, rather than guys that were just more of the same? Yes, G-Unit made a lot of money and probably made Em feel tough when he chilled with them...but what about the superior lyricism that Em posses? Why didnt he want to bring up top not lyricists? Why did he not work with any white emcees that were tearing up the underground from 1998 to 2011? My guess to all of it, is insecurity. Lets talk about his beefs, cool? He and Cage took a couple shots back and forth, nothing real serious...of course Cage had the truth on his side. He beefed with Everlast and made a diss that contained 17 bars referring to a heart attack, 9 from Em alone...real creative. Then he dissed Evidence, even though he wasnt even on the song, Ear Drums Pop. Evidence hit him with Searching for Bobby Fisher, to no response. K-Rino also dissed him to no response. Diabolic took multiple unanswered shots at him. He beefed with Canibus, and put out on of the corniest disses in hip hop history, Canibitch. Bis had the much harder diss, sorry Stans. He beefed with Limp Bizkit and Kid Rock...as if they were legit emcees 😅 And cant forget Mariah Carey, he dissed her mad good, but wouldnt face off with Nick Cannon 😅. He murked C level rapper, and career music maker for 13yr old girls, Ja Rule...congratulations. He dissed magazine editor/owner Benzino, as if that was impressive. Cant forget the two clowns he dissed, cause theyre not absolute trash 😅 He also dissed other celebrities and popstars, that had no chance of responding. He shit all over mumble rappers (which i appreciate), as if they had a chance. Then we get to MGK, another popstar for 13 yr old girls. What a list, do you see a pattern here? How about the fact that a guy who made a career out of mocking others, shut down Weird Al on his video for Couch Potato (Lose Yourself spoof)...claiming, it would damage his persona, oh the irony 😅😅😅. Em went from biting AZ and Nas, to Cage, Pacewon has called him out, and he has clearly emulated Masta Ace and Redman. Now he's 46 and made Kamikaze. A documented childhood of constant relocation, breeds a mimicking personality out of a need to be accepted...and thats Em

I gotta be honest, and I know this will not be a popular opinion. But what I've learned from every Coach and Martial Arts instructor I've ever had, is if you can spark your opponents temper, you've already won. It does seem like Everlast struck a chord with Eminem. I gotta give the win to Everlast, based off of that. Em, did seem to take it to heart, and Em was off his game a bit here. I've heard much better from him.
