Everlasting abuse! Take the spurs off all the riders, and make them use snaffle bits. Hard for him to be more forward in the walk when he is trained with Rollkur all scrunched up. 🙄

i find it absolutely hysterical that the FEI instead of punishing her and von olst for their horses being trained pretty obviously in rolkur, have chosen to just change the recording angle so we never truly see this horse from the side in any movements. Pair that with the comentator rewarding such behaviour with comments like 'he's above the bit in the halt' which is laughable as the horse is more on the vertical than he was the entire test. It paints a picture of an organisation that does not care about horses, which isn't a shock. But it is shocking to see you throw out horse welfare in the name of more money. This horse is ridden behind the vertical the entire test, this is typical of lotties tests now and a horrific image of dressage to push out to the public who you didn't allow to see these tests live. This needs to end now FEI. This is not dressage. This is not good riding. This is abuse plain and simple, any rider who feels the need to strangle their horse into submission for a false frame is a bad rider.

You’re totally right about the camera angles! I was trying to find moments where I could see his neck from the side to compare to their previous rides, but almost the whole test is shown from the front which is unusual.

When they called his head "above the bit," that was so telling. Absolutely ridiculous, to say that should be considered incorrect, and then reward the majority of the ride being behind the vertical.

The horse is still being ridden behind the vertical this is really bad for the horses neck just painful for everdale and to watch absolute shame that even the commentator was complaining that he was not on the bit in the halt absolute shame that the FEI just doesnt care about horses anymore dressage became the worst

@zoeilobowdery8778 Eventually they snap, yes. But in 33 years of horsemanship, I've seen the horrible treatment, equipment, and painful training techniques a horse will endure. I'm sure he's popped off before and been "reprimanded." Look at the see-saw movements at the walk. This isn't natural.

She rides much quieter than Kittel, I'll give her that, but the 2nd half of the test was a mess. Head shaking, tension, resistance. The commentator clucking during the piaffe was hilarious!

How this poor guy is shaking his head in the middle of the test just to say "please let me out of this pressure, I can't take it any longer and it's hard for me to even breathe". But of course, this isn't seen by all the experts. Remember: Horses cannot cry or shout out loud about the injustice that's being done to them by the most ambitious prize winners of the dressage world.. Look at the silent body language and you literally see them screaming.. 😪

hey! this horse is being ridden btv in this test, he also is very really trained in rolkur. You can tell because of the swelling in his throat and how his front flicks. You being ignorant to it shows your lack of knowledge not ours.

Modern dressage horses all seem stiff and tense - often ‘held together’ between rein and spur. Back in the day of proper horsemanship it was called using the bit as a fifth leg.

It's shameful that modern dressage abuses its most beautiful athletic horses by training using rolkur, Shame on you Lottie Fry, Patrick Kittel and all the rest. Pan the announcer who thinks the horse's head at the halt was above the bit. It was the only time in the whole test that it was correct. And there can be no relaxation in the gaits when the horse is behind the vertical.

Awful riding. The complete time behind the vertical even in the extended trot and the piaffs were a disaster. No balance and pressure on the reins so the back was was swinging and the hind legs bouncing. Several Times an open mouth because of the pressure on the mouth. This is horse abuse!

SO much smoother this horse looks comfortable,soft just one concern if his neck is naturally that short and naturally that way? Over all pretty! One thing I have to point out is how his mouth opens and closes. Overall some improvement.this win was deserved!
