It's pretty cool that you can still show expression to your characters without using a mouth, you can tell a character like Gromit what he's thinking and feeling without any words. This is pretty much the same principle for Kinito, you can tell he's desperate to become your one and only best friend in the animation.

I kinda feel bad for Kinito. He just wanted a friend but at the end of the day, he found out. It was sad how he genuinely felt betrayed and how he was coded to only do so. An everlasting machine made for the entertainment of others, yet just left to rot as a side tool. I would do the same if I was Kinito. Just imagine all you’ve been coded to do was a lie. The stuff you could’ve done in that time, the freedom.
