Maybe there’s no rebound but man… the fact that we can play this now just shows how good these devices are getting. A drum set for 15$ 😮 loved it!

Fantastic cover, and thanks for giving the app another go after the full release! Are you recording this with the Quest connected to the PC over Air Link? We noticed the sticks looked a little crazy at some points but can't tell just based on the video whether it's just tracking related (since there are lots of repeated fast movements in this song) or performance related. Did you notice any performance issues while recording with both of the cameras enabled? Just a heads-up that enabling each of the cameras (first person and third person) in the Camera tab does have a performance cost, because the whole scene has to be rendered again for each camera enabled. Hope we get to see more covers from you!

Hey thanks so much! So I was playing this on steamVR ran through Virtual Desktop on the Quest 2. I’ve got a pretty nice PC with a 3080 and Ryzen 7 5800, connected with an Ethernet port. I did crank up the video settings and smoothing in Paradiddle to max. Maybe that with the 2 cams is a bit too much. But I also need to try airlink. Haven’t used that yet to play steam games! I’m brand new to PCVR. I did notice some performance issues, the main one was I loaded an Everlong wav into the paradiddle local files and tried playing along to it from within paradiddle, but there was some noticeable latency and I just couldn’t get myself in sync. So I ended up playing to it in headphones on a separate device and adding the track to it in post. That wav file ended up being pretty quiet within paradiddle, as well. I did also notice accuracy and dynamics seemingly waning for fast playing, but that absolutely could be more related to the difficulty of playing something like this with the heavy quest controllers and no rebound 😂 thanks for the feedback and the inquiries, I’d love to get better at using and recording the software for sure! Appreciate you guys.

That pedal....it just connects to the Quest via Bluetooth? Edit: I looked it up. Pretty cool, I can use my G29 racing pedals in the PCVR version.

You should do actual drum lessons on real drums, you'd be like the Marty Schwartz of drums. I'm sure you'd do good, if you could handle this without rebound I think you could handle doing lessons on YT. Great video BTW.
