Latency offset instructions helped me soooo much because of the delay between visuals and the sound from the external repro. Thank!

So how to connect with my alesis strike pro se model? How does it see my drum sticks? How does it recognize the bass pedal? Is it enought to have only usbc-midi cabel?

I can answer all of these. 1. Midi cable. If you're on PC you want a Midi to USB-A cable. They're cheap 2. It doesn't. The e-kit connected to the game tells the game when you hit a drum. 3. Same thing - The e-kit tells the game when you hit the pedal. 4. Yes. All you need is a midi-compatible ekit with a midi cable. It should work on the quest's charging port since it has USB OTG

Hello. I need advice please. I have alesis nitro max and quest 3. Both are online and connected via USB. Game see my devide and i have no problem with kick, hithat, snare, tom 1, floor tom and ride. But Tom 2 and splash is no working. I try everything but i cant solve this problem. Somebody have similar issue? It's no problem for game. it's playable but i have tons bad notes. Thank you

Can you please make this available in Desktop mode on Steam!? I want to be able to use your play along module without a headset on, just on my pc monitor. Would be incredible

Just get clone hero if you don't have a VR. It's got tons of custom songs already charted by players and can easily be added to the game, it has e-kit functionality, and it has the note highway. Only difference is Clone Hero has no hi-hat pedal, and only 8 piece drum songs.

@@realausome Clone hero you only get 4 note lanes, paradiddle is unlimited and you can move them wherever you want. Better UI by far

@@grantyman1 ??? Okay, first of all, Paradiddle is meant to be a VR game. You're requesting it to have a screen mode, however you already have a VR so I don't see the issue.

@@realausome I'm simply saying that the Paradiddle drum module is superior to Clone Hero''s module, and I wish it could be used in PC mode as well, because the tech is so good compared to other PC modules that exist outside of VR. VR is not always the best way, it's heavier and sweaty. That's the issue. I'd like to play my real e-kit with Paradiddle's PC module, and custom songs. Simple as that.

Hello, I didn't understand what you connect just before the headphone cable for the audio. Is it necessary to connect another cable in addition to the MIDI USB C to B ? If so, which one? And do I need to connect the other end to a computer? I admit I'm a bit confused. I hope you can help me... Thank you and have a nice day/evening

Will there be a system in-gamewhere you can download community imported songs without using a computer???

There isn't an in-game method, but there is a way to get songs using SideQuest. I don't know the steps for this method, but if you join the discord, someone there can help you.

i wonder if theres a possible way to use mixed reality with a makeshift drum kit I just want to hit something with like chopsticks and have Paradiddle register what I hit (cardboard or else) as the drum in VR. Is there a way to do something cheap like that?

How do you connect the bass drum to the VR, and you're not hitting anything with controllers, so how does the VR know to make sound?

When using an electronic drum kit, MIDI signals are sent over the USB cable to tell the game what drums you are being played. In the video, the kit has a bass drum pedal that I'm playing with my right foot, and that signal is sent to the headset in order to track my score. When using an acoustic kit, Paradiddle acts as a song guide and does not track your score. Again the kick drum in the video is being hit by a pedal at my right foot. I hope this helps!
