Please dont bad these guys. Jason so much like Phil. We should be so glad that they will sing such great songs. No they are not Phil And Don but we have them. From a true Everly Brothers fan thank you I love you x

I agree with what you said Edan and Jason Everly. The Everly’s were great and no there will never be a replacement but be respectful. The keyboard volume is way to high and drowns out their voices

I wonder if any of the boy’s family was at this event? I love it that Edan has the strings on his guitar like his dad’s. They both show mannerisms like their dad’s.

Well the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree does it! Jason reminds me so much of Phil, it is scary sometimes. There were moments when you could close your eyes and hear that tight Everly harmony that their dad's created. For my money, Jason, just like his dad, has the better stage presence and voice... but that's just me! I was glad when I heard the two of them did this. Wonderful video, thanks for the share PaulRock and Loretta.

So great! Hear some similarity to their dads. ~2004 - the Whiskey in LosAngeles - met Edan & his gf(?) who sat at the same table! He introduced himself (Edan)& shook my hand! I thought what a courteous, nice, guy. a bit quiet-but so was I. Later....someone told me he was Don Everly's son!

It was a little confusing, but he seemed to know the words to the rest of the song. They were probably just having a little fun between themselves. I do think they were playing to Phil's audience though. Note the black attire. Just my opinion. Thanks, Mary, for the share. It was fun. Thanks PaulRock. *****.

It’s always tough for children of music legends - especially sons - to find their way. If they choose music as a career, they’re always compared to their fathers. It can’t be easy. Julian Lennon had a few good albums and touring years; he was terrific. But he’s moved on now to photography and philanthropic work. Zak Starkey was the drummer for Led Zeppelin for years. George’s son Dhani is very talented. Paul’s son James has written songs and done an album or two but I don’t really hear much about him. Paul’s daughters have fared better. Stella is a fashion designer and Mary is a photographer. It’s nice to see Jason and Edan together. They’re cousins and family and I hope they always have each other’s backs. That’s what’s most important.
@utatriebel22116 ай бұрын

Some observations, mostly from comments made. First, some took this way too seriously. It was meant in fun. Jason has definitely learned about harmony from his dad. He is good. Edan does seem like he was hooked into doing this lol, and reading below of his history with his dad it's not surprising. But once in they appear to have a good time. Lastly someone gave a biit of background into Edan and the family being abandoned with no support. I couldn't describe more perfectly the difference between Don and Phil as individuals and the essence of who and what each of them were in how they led their lives. Don was almost always about himself, Phil was almost always about others. Truly a fascinating study.

Edan is a good singer and musician, ive heard his original stuff way back in the My Space days,but in this performance, hes very pedestrian, and seems conflicted about being there. The blend is average,and sometimes a tad better as they seek to honor their Dads.♥️.
