Perfect harmonies that many have tried to copy, but failed . The Everly Brothers harmonised from childhood, Don and Phil both sadly gone now but how lucky are we longtime fans at Christmas 2024 to view this KZbin footage? I'm Everly Grateful to Everly Brothers International.

At this time they had been singing & recording for 13 yrs (since ‘57), Phil doesn’t look particularly happy!! It seems to me that Don hogs the mic & chatters more than necessary - like he likes the sound of his voice!!! Lol 😆. And, Phil just goes along with it!!! Mmmm!!

@C21L01 Жыл бұрын
Actually in reality, they'd been working together for over 20 years. Not just since 1957 but more like since 1945 when they were still children. This was getting very close to the public boiling point where one smashed his guitar as he left the stage in anger.
@CalebAchsah2 ай бұрын
@sueadt8421 - Actually, I didn't notice any of that. I can't even find an "interview" in this clip. What I see is how much both of them are loving the music and the magic of their own special talent and sound. At the very end, Don said that even after their second split over politics, he always thought of Phil every day, whether they were speaking or not. And he said when they sang together, it was like reading each other's minds. And that is exactly what I see here.
