He works at a preppy high school and is tapped from being everything to those kids as is, but I'm an empath and run to those kinda situations (to intervene when others won't). God will put the right kids/ sibling set in front of me at the right time and it will be a good "fit". Thanks.

Love and support to you. Is'nt it a shame, it's so much harder to take on a child out of love than to simply make one. The reason DNA is so confusing today, is likely that a child born unwanted was simply taken up by a relative or neighbor. IT WORKED. They lived on. So the paperwork is tangled. Big deal. With so many unparented kids in the world it seems INSANE to make it so difficult for a couple to adopt. God knows the rest of us were simply born to people with no background check and it worked. Having rented from slumlords, this part of the story isn't all that "fishy" to me. I've had multiple in the course of my life that have attempted to gaslight me into the belief that I was responsible for maintaining and/or upgrading their investment. i.e.: the 40+ year old, poorly maintained furnace finally gives out, but I'm the current tenant, so it's my responsibility to replace it. While I'm not naive enough to fall for the BS, there are plenty of others who would fall victim to being taken advantage of like that.

I know a family where the son was only rescued from years of physical abuse because CPS came and found them living in a tent and state law required a child to have a bedroom and a bed. Could never prove the abuse, but he was finally saved from his monster mother on the technicality that the mother couldn't provide adequate shelter. He could have been saved years earlier had OTHER PARENTS around them not had the same "government shouldn't get involved in my business" attitude. Same monster mother bought drugs over food, clothes, and investing in the children in the home, but the "being poor isn't a crime" crowd has to get so defensive that they will protect their shame over protecting the well being of a child. Utter shame the lengths people go to protect an adult over a child when their ego is triggered.

Man that is so sad sounds like the case here in California of these 2 little boys less than 5 years old that are missing. The adopted parents are in jail right now and the police are still looking for the boys. They are considering these two little angels are dead. The boys were missing for like 3 months when the adopted parents reported them missing.

I have a 59 year old brother, who has down syndrome and is also nonverbal now; we call him our little angel. Our mother past away 20 years ago and one of my sisters is in charge of him, but all of us, 4 brothers and 7 sisters are alwas pending that he has the medical attention, time and love that he deserves and needs. Now he is very ill because of his heart condition and seeing this really hits me hard, because we would love to see him grow old with us since our dad also passed away in 2014; and the fear of losing him is getting greater according to doctors diagnosis. I can't imagine life without our beautiful angel sent to us from God.😢 I hope they can find this sweet beautiful boy and he gets a decent burial and justice done. RIP Noel.... 😭💔🙏

Sad thing is, as a woman (especially in hispanic culture) you are not able to say 'I didn't want this baby, I don't want this baby now, I am not mentally healthy enough to be a good mother, and the father took off with no consequences but somehow it's all my problem- someone please take this child and do right by them' without an incredible amount of public shame. She was probably overwhelmed, un-supported, and didn't know how to be a good mother (to reduce her own stress and the child's). I'm not saying that she shouldn't have chosen differently, but the whole long story before this child's disappearance is just so sad and hopeless. As a society, we need to do better. We can't expect people to learn to be better parents if they never had an example or model.
