Thanks Hiram for doing my simmer ring test request! You are one of our great treasures on YT, doing all these tests and experiments "so we don't have to" :o) I am more and more intrigued by the Evernew burner and look forward to more tests. (I seem to be getting bit by the Ti bug too, and may be close to purchasing that set up). Keep up the good work, all the best, and I hope you are getting out for hiking and outdoor adventures.

Thanks so much, Mr. Cook. I always DO watch for your buddy Max, and I thoroughly appreciate all your tests. I've learned a lot about the whole process of heat and energy from you. Thanks much. Jules

I find that the stove placed in the 2--part sleeve to be too powerful to cook anything other than boiling water. Using the stove to double as pot stand like what you do in the video is a great way to reduce the flame for simmering task. Thanks for the idea.

Thanks, Hiram. Any chance of doing a boil test on a more narrow type of pot/mug? I would be curious as to how the flame pattern would perform on a Snow Peak 600, Stanley cook kit pot, or something else in that diameter range.

Hello sir, how easy (or hard) is to pour any alcohol leftover back into its bottle if you don't use it all? Thank you very much for your videos.

The stove looks promising for sure. I would be concerned with the stability of having boiling water directly on the stove without the stand. It did not look very stable. In the field, that is a burn or wet gear accident waiting to happen. I look forward to your alternate stand tests. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience.

Great series of videos. I have one of these stoves on order and I will now know how to use it without hours of trial and error. Just one question though. What does your buddy Max actually do? He seems to have a pretty easy time of it. Does he have a duty statement? Have you signed him up to a performance agreement?

Hi Hiram, how's the evernew titanium stove going? Best wishes

Great vids - I saw a comment on a past video asking for a test using the evernew inside a solo stove. I'd second that request! (or in the solo stove titan.. or BOTH) thanks for your videos. they're great.

So I'm on a Hiram binge watching water boil . . . Can you do an ounce to ounce comparison? I've seen that aluminum pots boil water faster than titanium and stainless. I've seen that the carbon fiber fancy feast stove doesn't take priming fuel. What is the lightest weight system of pot, stove, alcohol? One pan, one stove ounce to ounce comparison with one ounce of fuel.

Is that with the cross piece pot stand or without?

Resting a big wide pot on top of a small can spitting flame is not the safest setup.
