Vlade evernote urgently needs a way to link notes without having to leave the note, go to the desired one, copy its link and return to paste. It could be an "@", which would serve to type the name of the note and with enter paste the link. But this is an essential feature.

Have you already asked for this on the official forum? Even better, search for it there and if you find this request already exists, up-vote it.

Matheus, you can already do this. Double-click on the note you're editing (in the list of notes) to open it in a separate window. Use your first window to search for the note you want to link. Then click and drag it from the list of notes in your first window into the note in your second window.

@@ghoffman007 Hello, I already do this but other platforms have this function in a simple way, which is not difficult for evernote to add the function. Having to double-click on a note to move it to another I already do, but how to do this if the note is in a place you don't remember, do you understand the importance of the feature?

@@matheusrodrigues6816 If the note is in a place you don't remember, aren't you going to have to search for it whether you do this, as you suggest, without having to leave the note, or in a separate window? I believe that I understand the importance of the feature for you. As I understand, you want to be able to type the name of a note to link or search for a note to link without having to use a second window. Is that correct?

@@ghoffman007 Exactly friend, actually understand, what I want is for there to be the possibility of linking notes without having to leave it, you don't need to open your tasks gesture because you have the tasks inside evernote, Alt + T in ready has the possibility to create a task, so I don't use todoist or another is more practical, in other apps you type "@", and there's a box where you can add a link to a recent note or look for one, I may not know where to be a business card but if I know the name just type it in the search bar and it appears. I'm visual and something that has worked for me is to create a note, I have a model ready, and add links to what I need to solve, I know there are simpler and more complete methods, but everyone knows what is right for them, so with this function I could do an analysis on my notebook and with my cell phone type the name and go out linking in checklists and adding tasks to the note of my day. This model of mine has everything I'm learning with GTD, tasks, goals, habits kkkkkkk, and finally a daily review where I write and describe from pre-pointed questions in the model. everyone knows their way of using the tool but I think creating links in notes from an "@", or an option in my blue + would help everyone.

Hi Vlad - Thank you for your videos; they are very informative!! I really wish I could get rid of my "To Do" app and put everything in Evernote, but they aren't there yet.

I started using it as a task manager a month ago, and there are many videos about this topic on my conveyor belt. Just released one today 😉 👇 kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4jPnnVsnNCtf6M

Thanks for the video Vlad and your examples. I want to like/use Evernote tasks, but it's just too laborious still. There are so many clicks and mouse movements to get just one recurring task set up. Compare this with Todoist or TickTick with their quick add global shortcuts and natural language processing - where one does not even have to take their hands off the keyboard to add much richer recurring tasks. But it's early days, and I'm sure it will get better. With regards to sharing notes and assigning tasks, I would rather use another system such as Milanote (more people (especially non-Evernote users) take it more quickly as it's quite visual and intuitive.)

Thank you for the comment. Good points! I agree when you say it takes too many clicks compared to other Apps. That's why I'm constantly talking about the value of Evernote for those that use the note (note-taking) as a core element of their productivity systems. From this perspective, Evernote Tasks work much better than several other Apps. As for sharing, some Apps are definitely easier than others to start working with, but we'll always face the limitations of the other person having to have the same App. I would never share an Evernote Task with a person who doesn't use it. The same is true for Trello, another App I use. That said, the examples I show on the video will work much better in companies or teams that already use Evernote Teams or that have Evernote as a corporate tool.

@@vladcampos Thanks for your response. I think the power of embedded tasks in notes will come after a few more weeks of use and adapting workflows.

Hi Vlad, I'm currently looking for a way to add a time estaimation for my tasks. I'd like a daily overview of my tasks and how much time it will take me in total to finish those tasks. Do you have any tip how to do that in Evernote?
@vladcampos
@vladcampos Жыл бұрын
The only thing I can think of is adding it before the tasks' description itself. Do you happen to be using the Pomodoro Technique? If yes, it's even easier, just add the number of Pomodori to the task. And you can even create a system. For example, estimated coma realized. You can start with the estimated amount and add the realized amount before marking the task as completed. Something like this: 3,4 | New task.
