Everquest ISBoxer Tutorial Healer Click Bar Guide

This is part 3 of a series where I do a tutorial on how to set up ISBoxer and Innerspace to work in Everquest. I go through the steps of getting your Healing Click Bar set up in ISBoxer so that you can heal any character with either a single target heal or a group heal anytime you want without having to alt tab to your healer.
I go through every step on how to set up the click bar. I show you how to set up the Action Target Group which is required for this to work, how to set up the hotkeys in ISBoxer so you can mouseover target any character in your group and then how to set up a right click and left click function hotkey to actually cast the heals.
I do apologize as I didn't realize the window capture didn't capture my right clicks in the video, I tried to notate where I could but I will be fixing the issue on the next video where I show how to make a mezz click bar.

Nice video! I have put off trying ISBoxer for a long time finally trying it out and got every thing set up thanks to your vids. Only thing I did is I did not account for mercs as I only have a 4 box that I use a couple mercs with. They do not seem to obey the slot functions.

And your right there is no way to directly control a merc in game as it is completely AI based but as a kind of shortcut you can add hotkeys for the different stances to keys you can control with ISBoxer so you can have them on passive while pulling then quickly change them to effecient/balanced or aggressive/burn

You can do it I'm sure! I suggest getting 1 box of the click bar working and after that you just duplicate it, getting that first part working is the hardest part but if you watch this and the first video I made it can walk you through it. Thanks again. Loving these videos. So I'm all set up and it works, but I think I accidently removed something I shouldn't have from a previous video. I finally got it to work, and heals just fine but my click bar shows just {SLOT1} (2 and 3 respectively since I'm only tripple boxing. Not sure what I did but at least it works I just have to remember the order of my characters to click the right bar

That's great to hear! If you go back to the video about the healing bar I do talk about how to make a hide/unhide hotkey for when you don't need the heal bar. Have you made that? And if so have you tried to hide the heal bar then unhide it? a lot of times that will pull the information from the game file and put in the correct name. If that doesn't work see if you can post a snippit of the code in ISBoxer and I will see if I can see anything wrong with it

@@rexdolaorn542 that fixed it! Thanks again. My ADHD just keeps getting the better of me lol. When my chanter was trying to kill me I discovered it was my in game hotkey binding that was the problem. Had 2 things set for my middle mouse so he was going through his assist spam

Can you explain the question more? Do you mean you have your other accounts in smaller windows around your main game screen or the game instances are windowed and you want full screen?

Sure, I three box. All of them are in windowed mode- not full screen . I am trying to get my main to be in full screen mode

Under window layout in the ISBoxer Suite do you have the type that is stacked and full screen selected in game?

How does this work when 4-boxing and you have mercs in group? I setup a 4x1 and with just my own toons in group, the mouse over targeting works well. but when I add in mercs, it's not targeting who I want anymore, and in the 6x1 the last two buttons don't target anyone. Thanks for any help

This is awesome. I must have done something wrong because the names do not show up, just {SLOT1}, etc... The buttons work perfectly however except for no character names, I know which is which and the order is correct. Not sure what I might have done wrong.

I am not sure without looking at it. It is possible the slots are different in the set up or possibly something isn't checked. I just got back from vacation but if you want sometime I can help you in discord

Is there a way to make it target a pet? I have multi box sets and one uses a Mage pet for tank. And the {SLOT1} changed the Mage target not the cleric target? I am lost again

I don't know anyway to specifically have the click bar target a pet. The work around I use is a macro in game that is set to the same hockey press as my discord classes attack macro. As for the target need to check the codes you put in. You can come to my discord and I can try to help or can ask on the ISBoxer Everquest section

is there a way to get 2 characters to cast on 1 click? for instance, a druid and shaman casting reptile and sloth when i click on slot 1?

You should be able to add another step inside the macro created for the click bar inside ISboxer, you would need to ensure that the 2nd healer spell/macro you want is on the same hotbar slot as the heal but I do believe it's doable. I'm not 100% sure of the syntax of the macro though as I've only ever used just 1 healer with my chanter doing the slows.

@@rexdolaorn542 I've been able to manage the casting part. But I've been unable to get the mouse over targeting to work for 2 of 6 characters. Didn't know if I would have to make an entirely different click bar for the shaman or not

Might need to, or what I did with my cleric is I added the buffs to the incoming macro so it's separate from the actual heals

When i set it up to have {SLOT1} it doesnt auto update with the name of the group member

Use your hotkey to disable the bar and then bring it back and it should update with the character names.

It is set up the same way as the mezz bar. I can't tell what may be wrong without seeing it and you maybe seeing my set up. If you want can come to my discord and can try to work on it after I get done with work today or tomorrow
