upon research that ive done on EQ Lore, because im a fanatic. Rancor is Veldel who was a Gypsy "king" type dude, He was killed by Mayong Mistmoore, became a vampire himself and then was banished from Norrath by another Gypsy named Yazmina or something like that, this lore is also part of the Lute of the Gypsy Princess Lore as well. now most of the lore that i have regarding this stuff is from EQOA lore wikis and stuff, either way right or wrong, still an awesome read and fun. thanks for the videos man!

Thank you for making this fantastic video! I was a dedicated EQ player back in the day, but never raided, so I never gave much thought to the epics (cool as they were). Having recently returned to EQ after 20 years, and really enjoying myself on Teek, this video is tempting me to finally make a try at the Singing Short Sword….

I love Bards and I love this epic sword. I obtained it for the first time on a progression server in the last couple years, the one with random loot from named mobs, and tradable items. The epic is truly wonderful item that I used even in PoP for a time until I got the top raid loot.
