Why don't they lay on hands to heal back up when you fight them? When I'm fighting them they are laying hands and at level 46 it's tough.

For some reason, the guards only use Lay on Hands if they are in a melee battle. So if you root-rot them, they won't use it.

Hey Coska! Question for you: What/how did you farm platinum to afford the items you have? I am a 42 Necromancer, currently killing spectres. But in order to afford JBoots, Circlet of Shadows (pre-nerf), weight reducing bags, spells, as well as other items, that’s a lot of platinum. How did you farm to afford it, do you have any tips?

I think you and I spoke in-game about this a while back? Anyhow, for other viewers: For me, it's been a matter of a pretty slow but steady income flow. For example, the Felwithe camp gave 21p per guard killed, and I stayed there for weeks, maybe even months. Another aspect is that Coska is my second p99 character (my first is a 58 Ranger), which means that I already had made some money before I rolled Coska. I haven't had any amazing high-value item random roll luck like Fungi or similar. The most valuable item that I've solo-farmed is Elder's Earring from Skyshrine (probably looted 3 of them), they sell/sold for about 9-10k. I've also lived pretty cheap. The most expensive gear I've bought was probably the Circlet of Shadow, which I got for about 10k back in 2017. JBoots I've camped myself. I've also spent some time in the EC tunnel on my mule (which many player don't have the patience for), to make sure I make good deals buying/selling. Patience, grinding, being curious and having fun. All at the same time. These are 4 corner stones in being successful in this game, I think.
