Thanks to your videos i been able to discover this awesome area. I have been testing so much and you can kill them with this combo in this particular order of cast -> Ignite Blood/Dooming Darkness/Splurt, most efficient mana combo i found out.

Man, it's wild to see non-Iksar Necros play. The health regen Iksars get makes a HUGE difference. Mine is also 54 and at this camp and I rarely go below 75% health.

Great video thanks Bob. Love EQ more than any game ever made. Crossing fingers Patheon is a Eq clone as close as possible with up to date graphics.. Until then Eq will always be #1 to me.

Hey Stephen. I'd say that 39 is a bit too low for this camp. These guards are around level 40, so you will have problems with root/snare/DoTs not landing etc.

At 39, you can charm-kill the 4 Spectres by their tower in Ocean of Tears. Great XP and you will sharpen your charm skills using lull, stun, root, charm, break charm, FD when needed etc.

If your starting new and planing on making more character's p99 what would be the first class and race you would do? My guess is necro then shaman?

At the moment, I'm leveling a Troll Shaman (58), Barbarian Rogue (52), High Elf Paladin (54), Dark Elf Cleric (56) and an Iksar Monk (57). Having a blast!

@@BobThePlayer troll shaman is best for this class, great choice on that one. But what is the best class soloing if you start out fresh?

@@BobThePlayer I think a bard could be the best first character. Them hardly have any down time and lvl up faster then any other class.

@@pittypatterputzzler5311 Best solo classes I'd say would be Necros, Enchanters, Shamans, Magicians and Bards. I got some friends who'd claim Druids and Wizards are good solo classes too. What classes/levels do you have on the server atm?

Get crystal pumice and a trash clicky. Load up all your buffs and cancel the first slot buff. You'll always be able to dispel that first slot.

But are you really sure that it's always the first slot that gets dispelled on you? According to my experience, the slot is always random.

@@BobThePlayer This is the biggest lesson in EQ PVP; proper crystal pumice use. Dispel will always remove the spell in the first slot, then the second, etc., it's not random. The goblin earring from WW is great for managing this first slot because it's an instant cast trash buff. You toggle trash clicky spells to keep good buffs out of your first slot, only spells you would want to pumice should land there. It's a bit awkward at first but you'll quickly get the hang of it and feel like a pro when you dispel a nasty dot, snare, or root. In PVE you probably need worry about only the first slot but managing these slots with pumice is elementary to PVP.
