EverQuest Ranger: Silent video showing Head-Shotting in ME, gear, macros, and Double Bow Damage.

A couple things I forgot...1. My augs on this toon. They are out of date since I've not played him much since RoS. 2. I shouldv'e used Pureshot a little to show that the double damage turns into 4x damage when Pureshot is running when mobs are being tanked.
NOTE: Bow double damage only happens when the mob is being tanked without being rooted. If you look closely, you can see the damage being altered when it's rooted and tanked briefly. Snare is OK, root is the debuff that stops it. This is the intended mechanic...not a bug, and is a good thing.

Thanks for popping by, but I'm not in EQLive atm. I've been out of game for over 6 months because I switched to a Apple iMac M3. I've basically sworn off windows for good. It was only good for gaming anyway. I'm considering trying to get EQ Live to work in MacOS, but you need to use a VM to do it and Daybreak has a poicy against playing the game in a VM. As for any HS advice, the main thing I always went by was...HS speed=haste and using the "arrow" spells (single target) as much as possible...Lazy HS farming= Just autoshot. Also something to keep in mind is using a tank (merc or real player) will double arrow damage on arrow damage (spells and autoshot) factor in the trueshot cooldown which gives a 4x damage bonus (double damage x double damage = 4x damage) and you're slaughter mobs pretty fast. Merc tank also lets you kill summoning mobs as well. Using Merc tank/Tank Pet will need to mean you at least 2 box. I got used to 2 boxing, but generally hate doing it. Rock on man, and have fun!
