EVERQUEST - WIZARD AE SPELLS TUTORIAL (1080p)

It took me way too long to realize orange spells had friendly fire. I had to sit after every pull because I was basically almost killing myself thinking I was just super squishy even with Shielding. Using them just for pulling/kiting was a game-changer and I hate myself for all that time I wasted. I just wish Wizards had more DoT spells because they're so damned good for kiting or fire-and-forgetting.

Played EQ from 99 and a wiz at that. AoE was always my fav, did quad kitting but back then I remember Atol's spectral shackles the aoe snare, did 4 mobs, problem if you were close, it would get you too = death. Now the AoE are avaiable early on and more options/utility, it wasn't so back then. However, a great camp for AoE was kitchen, if I remember, in Seb. We had Pally tank, 3 wiz for AoE and obviously a chanter, one pull was like 20+ mobs; but talk about excellent xp when it was painful to xp back in the beginning and actually seeing your bar move, Christ back then they didn't even have the blue bar on the xp it was just the yellow and seemed like it never moved for hours on end. Lots of fun, would love to run a raid at some point w/ you guys on test, watch your raids weekly. GJ keep up the great content!!

Love these tutorial videos, I never tried a wizard once and was curious what you guys on the AE team are blasting.

Thanks! AE groups are a lot of fun, but it requires a lot teamwork. I wish there were more PB AE spells because there's agap between level 30 and 45 where there aren't any PB AE's.

When i see you open up these MASSIVE spell lists ...god i miss games like EQ with some actually roleplay ingenuity not just like WOW and its 7 spells per char...ah where is pantheon.

Wow with 7 spells only that takes a lot away from the game. I wanted to show just how many spells are at level 109 and the list is huge to my surprise!

Why don't you loot your kills? I am a noob...but I saw this guy who clicks the ag box, those two boxes stand for always need and always greed. I clicked always greed. After a while it stops popping up when you kill and it becomes automatic.

I could do that, but unless I have a 40 slot bag, I'm going to fill it up with stuff. I do click AG on certain items like gems, etc.

I just wanted to point out that for the purpose of soloing the targeted aes worked really well for quad kiting. I remember quadkiting in WW. If you are soloing you can't use pbaes, and rain spells aren't as good as your not likely to get more than one wave off and will be less Mana efficient. When quadkiting the best spells are the targeted green spells. As for Al's spells. The idea behind them was ok. The have a larger radius so you could hit people further away, but unless they let you hit a lot more people they aren't worth the paper they were written on

Good points! Sometimes the green targeted AE's have small radius. Quad kiting is the way to go!

Al Kabor spells are garbage because they were unlimited targets originally That got changed But they never fixed mana cost

I'd just like to be able to equip a spell to my freaking skill bar. Can't beat tutorial mode cause game is f'ing broken. HAHA....game is freaking unplayable.
