Might do this when Iksars release on Aradune. I never never ever play non-iksar necros. I've died one too many times to AFKing with lich on for that to register as a good idea anymore

One of the things I love with classic everquest is that some npcs that are there to protect some players are killable targets for other players. :)

Back in the day I would grind loot killing Ice Giants in Everfrost Peaks. Giants are great for plat.

They are good plat. Sad thing is that on Mangler there are 2 bot teams taking both of them down 24/7

You can do it with a wizard too. I've seen people use mages, enchanters, and clerics (good undead nukes)

Aoe raiders in sk get sashes and bronze weapons sell weapons then turn in sashes for more bronze. Weighs less and you get more plat

I ran some test on the bandit camp in NK near the bridge (7 spawn). After 5 spawn cycles of bandits, I got 7 sashes and 1 bronze gauche. I turned those in and got 4 shields and 3 bronze weapons. 2 of the bronze weapons sold for 1p and one sold for 4p. The shields sold for about 1p. In the end after 5 spwans the bandits made about 15p. The nice thing is the spawn is fast, faction is good, and it can be done by very low level toons. Having a port back out there is very important since it's a long run out to the karanas. In the end, the Paineel guards make more money. It could be that the bandit quest was nerfed. Thanks for letting me know about this quest.

It depends on the camp, but mage teams always do well.

starting ogres for first time and coming back to try a TLP on aradune, any good guards for ogres?

By good guards do you mean ones you can hunt?

The Felwithe guards were farmable, but somewhat tough to kill because they're paladins. The ogre guards have been buffed and are not easy to kill. I think some of them inside Ogook are killable though. I'll have to check :)

I've seen erudite necros farming it because they want the money more than the epic or hometown :) In fact, they can start it earlier when they get the undead charm.

On TLPs that only have classic unlocked(Mangler), the big plat farms (like giants) and good loot camps(Efreeti boots) are owned by bot armies. The only want the small guy is going to get those items it by farming plat and paying the bot army farmers for the item.

If the ice giants in Everfrost are not camped. On Mangler there's a bot army there 24/7 because that camp can be AFK bot farmed.

That is a good idea, but there are big bot armies out there hunting giants on mangler. On a TLP the Elite Sand Giants are not up, so there are only a few SGs out there.
