This will be interesting. Anyway, just last week, I took delivery of the Eversolo DMP-A6 Master Edition, and so far, I am loving it! The clarity and the dynamics is astounding on this device. I bought it to replace my Pioneer Elite N-50 that I've had for some ten years as it died on me a couple of weeks ago. After much research, I found the DMP-A6 Master Edition to be exactly what i was looking for, especially for the money (I was willing to spend as much a $2,000 US for something). I am also using it as a DAC for my Pioneer Elite DV-79AVI disc player. The Eversolo is then feeding into my Marantz AV8802a pre/pro via XLR, which in turn is feeding a stack of Emotiva XPA Gen 3 amps, which in turn are driving Klipsch RF-7 speakers. Also have two subs, a REL Storm III and a Klipsch RW-12D.

I have the A6 ME solely as a streamer into my Denafrips DDC Iris - Pontus 2 , it’s magical and musical , way better than my IPhone 15 Pro. It’s a beautiful combo. I wouldn’t hesitate spending the extra $. Later I will upgrade the LPS as suggested by many. Incredible value.

I have the master edition It is a fine piece of gear But it absolutely doesn't sound any better than my onkyo TX RZ70s native dacs I love the unit, it is easy to get files over the network cetc, it is visually stunning, but I didn't hear any difference in sound compared to the RZ 70 I am using the rca analogue outputs of a6 and its internal dacs I have kef R900 speakers Very happy with sound out of either the master or onkyo..but it's the same

Interesting what about the standard DMP A6 used as a transport only with a chord Mojo 2 DAC, would that be better than the master edition DMP A6 on its own with internal DAC roughly the same money ? Thanks

@@neilparry14 the album art works fine the connection between your mobile device and the unit sometimes freezes up but comes back. I’m sure w future updates this will be fixed. Love my streamer works and sounds good

Had the Master Edition in my system. Great value for money. Beats the Node X in terms of sound quality but its not as good as a Lumin U1 Mini as a streamer transport or the Lumin D2 or HiFi Rose RS250a as a streamer/DAC. Too much hype by reviewers.

Eversolo can be buggy. Wait for another 6 to 12 months for them to iron out the bugs. Beware.

Had the master edition since release. Only thing that's not working great is ripping CD direct with it. That I recommend doing from your computer if able and move files instead.
