Mr Scott! Thanks so much. I watched this video a long long time ago when you first posted it and I could never find this game and gave up. Everspace fell into my lap the other day and I played a trial and was like oh! I know this! Scott Manley! It's such a good game! Thanks dude.

like in FTL you need some luck as well... in my first (new) run i didn't even make it so sector 2. The second wasn't so great either. But in the third I almost spend one and a half hour crushing those sectors one after another... Really an awesome game.

Sweet I'd hoped you'd take a look at this game! I am pretty curious about it. I liked their Galaxy on Fire games on iOS, and they are from my city. Got to support your local businesses!
@trygveplaustrum46347 жыл бұрын
This looks shockingly like Galaxy on Fire 3, with the six-degree first-person shooter, warp tech, and that kind of stuff. Not that I mind, though; It's one of the best mobile games out there. I would recommend it. It's not very realistic, but it is fun and space-themed, so you can't go wrong.
@SargeRho7 жыл бұрын
That's because ROCKFISH games, the studio behind Everspace, is run by the former heads of Fishlabs, the developers of Galaxy on Fire 3.

I have been playing this game for about two weeks now and have been unable to complete a full run through the game. I don't pretend to be the greatest gamer in the world but statistically speaking I should've accidentally completed a run by now. I have been able to take out a few of the Okkar corvettes though. I find that a handful of corrosion missiles and shield breaker missiles go a long way to depleting their shields, no matter how many shield drones they have deployed. After you take their shields down, using the coil gun, beam laser (+++) or plasma cannon will make short work of their hull. As linear and somewhat repetitive as the game can be at times, I have yet to find myself bored while playing it and actually look forward to doing so. Usually, a game like this would tick all of my "hate boxes" when it comes to rating a game but I really enjoy the hell out of it. I really like that every run is different from the last and you rarely experience the same level or situation more than once. If anyone could give me some tips on how to best go about completing a run, it would be much appreciated.

There is an easier way of dealing with corvettes. If you have G&B freighter in the sector, you can just dance between freighter and corvette to cause enough collateral damage to make G&B hostile towards Okkar.

But G&B are always hostile to the Okkar.

But of course the many times the icloud has been hacked, or the xcodeghost, one-text crash and hack, and so on :P Apple products can have just as many security issues as Android, the only reason it appeared the other way around was because Android was originally a more popular OS, but since iOS is becoming so popular more hackers are spending their time to breach the system. I'm not saying Android is safer and as a general rule Apple does have better security but both platforms have their security issues. Thankfully there are plenty of ways to easily protect your data on both OS's

I played it in beta and without a story it was just too grindy. This has enough new and weird stuff going on that I like it a lot. If Shadow Warrior and Descent had a baby... it's shallow, it's cliched, it's kinda grindy with just enough progression to keep me going back but this is *not* Deep And Meaningful hence YMMV.
