Feels a lot more complete than when I last had a look back here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJ6yon-HepiMnqs and I'm looking forward to seeing some more of the endgame and getting deeper into it :) Know some people don't like sponsored content by default - but look at it this way: This video was marked as 'not suitable for advertisers' before I could even publish it, (because of the huge amount of inappropriate content obviously....) and they will NOT review until it's been viewed a certain number of times. Basically every video I make now gets flagged like this - so when the chance arises to go back to a game I enjoyed and actually get something in return, yeah I'll take it... and then work twice as hard to be sure it's a good video and as impartial as I can manage - of course there is always some bias, that cannot be avoided and pretending like being paid for something has 0 influence is just wrong, but I do my very best to avoid it.

Just wondering if there is a way to get unflagged from the 'not suitable' status? keep up the good work W4sted, love your content, sponosred or not!
@w4stedspace7 жыл бұрын
Thanks dude :) I'm not gonna do a sponsored video I don't think would fit the channel and people would enjoy anyway but good to hear! You can request a manual review, but that will only happen after the vid hits a certain number of views and all the while you wait the video itself is down ranked in search etc. They eventually all get that flag removed, but it takes a couple of days normally, the most important days.
@simplig12727 жыл бұрын
Yes, I know of that videos will get monetized again after a few days, I was thinking of overall your content. the way I understood you comment, now that you have been flagged, all videos start demonetized and later on might be monetized after review by YT, and I was asking that flag can be removed after a while. like putting out X monetizable videos in a row, or after a certain time it expires.

You know what W4sted, i don't know how this game was in alpha, but the gameplay how you decribed it right now seems to be extremly simulare to galaxy on fire 2 just bigger. galaxy on fire is an old mobile game but it's huge.

i don't sponsored content as long as you can give your own opinion about it. Game looks fun to play perhaps i will take it when am done with Space engineers

This game has been on my wishlist for some time now, I adore space games like this, it also brings back memories of a linear arcade-y space shooter called BANG! Gunship Elite. Pretty childish name but a pretty good title as I remember it. This game is like a free-roam procedural permadeath version of that game. It looks like SO much fun.

The Arc 9000 is not new at all :) it was in the game since early access. Nice Video though! I have played more then 50 hours and have to say that it was worth it!
@w4stedspace7 жыл бұрын
Doh... the Tesla was new though right? Guess I mixed it up with the area-shock device they added in, hadn't noticed getting one before! I'm liking it a lot so far tbh, and 50 hours is good payback for the price :)

5:13 "Get back to my corpse". What? What are you talking about? I never knew you could go back to your "corpse"! Is it like Runescape where you have a small window to find your body or something to keep some of your loot? I'm confused.

I figured it out by myself. You have to put upgrade points into the “MISC” section of your “PERKS” screen (where you upgrade your ship). With enough points you unlock the ability to find your old ship and reclaim some stuff. Not all your stuff, just some of it. You can tell where your old ship is because a little grayed-out ship icon appears above one of the TRAVEL nodes when you enter a wormhole.

Just finished the main game last night (Only with the 1st ship) and was wondering whether the DLC was worth picking up. Sounds like it might be fun! The characters being added sounds like touch, definitely be getting it!

Looks quite interesting. I trust you will keep it as impartial as you can, so if I were to request any specific input about a sponsored "look at" of a game, then it would normally be where _you_ personally think the weak points are or may be (depending on the individual gamer's personal preferences and taste in gameplay, ofc.). Not that I necessarily think there are specific things wrong with this title -- not at all -- but because all games have a gameplay shelf life so to speak -- something will make you stop playing at some point. For SE the gameplay is nearly endless, but the bugs will kill it for you; for Empyrion, it will most likely be that you will have bested the survival aspect and end up with a minecraft style building game in stead of a survival game; in FTL, you will at some point have experienced all encounters and have a winning strategy down that will win you the game most of the time. So in other words, what -- if anything -- will be the most likely factor(s), that _perhaps_ makes the player feel that they are done with the game (for better or for worse)? Very neutral question, but one that I often feel gives a very good bit of insight into whether or not a game will be something for me. Other than that, don't fret too much about having sponsored content. You don't normally stay out of the salt mines, when something bugs you -- unlike so many others out there -- so I would be amazed, if you refrained from mentioning if something in a game didn't rub you the right way. :)
@w4stedspace7 жыл бұрын
Well I kinda touched on this a little in the video (and thanks to your feedback will ensure I approach that question in future videos more head-on) but the main one would be the early-game section in each playthrough that for the most part I think is going to become a bit redundant as you upgrade your vessel... so the first few sectors become a bit of a haul before you can get into the next playthrough for real that will eventually just not be worth it - especially if the endgame is not as varied as I hope. So far there's lot I want to see more of but how long that will last HAS to be finite, and I suspect that first 2 sectors will be the bit that ends it for you.
@Upreci7 жыл бұрын
You did indeed touch on the subject, which is greatly appreciated. I mention it only specifically because I don't mind you doing sponsored spotlights of games and a good way (imo.) to keep oneself honest in cases, where there may be doubts about impartiality, is to make use of some neutral but to-the-point questions. I have more in mind, but as always, I try not to talk your ear off too much :)

Has been on my wishlist in steam...i'm sure since your first vid. Seems interesting (who wouldn't want a new freelancer, ) and hope you do more on this tittle. Know it's promo but give us the true pros and cons of it! This is a genre lacking developer support so drawbacks tend to carry less weight as long as we get an experience we enjoy/are missing.

Why does everyone hate on the "arcadey" mechanics, the game has fully Newtonian mechanics that you can clearly see if your inertial dampeners are ever damaged. Games like Elite Dangerous are the non-Newtonian ones: There is no drag or lift in space, so having a turning radius is idiotic.

just putting this out there: i do NOT have a problem with you making a few sponsored videos! as long as it is YOUR HONEST opinions! and it doesn't take other videos' place. and you TELL us, it is a sponsored video, in the title, and maybe in the video, as well, like you are already doing. :)

Is anyone really tired that every game with a bit of randomness in it has to be billed as either 'Rogue-like' or 'rogue-lite'? JUST SAY RANDOMIZED or Procedural, already! Most people have no idea what Rogue was anyways! (/rant)

I'd love etail like this craft is designed for atmospheric flight also and see the control services needed for that turn off when in space. That'd be awesome.... just believability stuff

At first I thought this too, when trying to engage enemies and not getting anything like close to killing them, but after a few tweaks in the settings, setting up a decent mouse and persisting with trying different methods of engaging in battles, I have now played the game 3 to 4 hours a day over 14 days, and with the DLC installed, I think this game is great and it is so satisfying when you get new blueprints or new upgrades to your ship, allowing further progression. Give it another try bro.

@@RebelUK-o7 I will, I really wanted too like this game, I saw some really good game play and I was really impressed, but upon play I found the gameplay to be just impossible, but I will try it agin and I hope to have the same success as you did, I am getting into video game production myself I'm tired of playing bad games, with steep learning curves, Peace and Love!!!
