The defensive gameplan plays to a lot of strengths in the team. Players like Mykolenko who aren't good going forward and can get themselves caught out of position can just stay put

Baz, are there any players in The Championship that you'd like to see Everton go for in January? Maybe a topic for a video/live in the new year? I've seen links with Tom Fellows (RW) at West Brom. Could be an upgrade? Obviously Chris Rigg and Jobe Bellingham doing well at Sunderland. And hearing good things about Shea Charles at Wednesday (on loan from Southampton). I just think if we can find the next Bowen and Semenyo, it would be a massive kickstart for the Friedkin era. Could get a good number of players, homegrown, for fairly cheap. Secures the future a bit when we've got so many players with only a few years left on their contracts (least years under contract stat). Never mind building a young side going forward. There's also a few players from the sides who will probably get relegated too. On the game, I'm not getting carried away with 0-0 draws. Too many fans think Dyche is a miracle worker and this is all we can do. It's infuriating. Nil Satis Nisi Optimum.

Think Everton will fare much better in the second half of the season when we have all our players available: all four strikers DCL, Beto, Broja and Chermiti; and the two additions to our midfield, Garner and Iroegbunam. When we have all those options we will be much more competitive. That's why imo the postponement of the Merseyside derby could be to us "a blessing in disguise". Merry Christmas to you Baz and Ped, and also to James, not to forget Ned and John!

We could have won that game, what a boost that would have been. Against lesser teams we need to play any two of, Broja, DCL or Beto, we have to start attacking more and scoring goals. The last couple of weeks have been great to be an Evertonian.

Here’s a positive note, in our last three games we’ve scored 4 goals, kept three clean sheets and played two of the top three clubs. Our next three games will tell us much more about what we can achieve.

The defence be unbelievable best in Europe now . Dyche has had the hardest job in football no money to buy players selling best players points deductions DCL injuries with one arm and saves us twice from relegation. No other manager could done this job we be got relegated.. Tied behind his back we should beat Chelsea unlucky .

Honestly we're better losing these games against the top teams of it means a more positive manager gets us wins against the teams around us. I have little confidence in Dyche winning the games we need to win

Zero argument in how we've set up last few games even if wed have lost but problem with Dyche is he'll set us up the same way against everyone. 8 wins all season the media narrative that Dyche gets results is embarrassing needs to go the club will be speaking to targets already just a matter of time before a change is made

Definitely not a striker. We have 4 and 2 of them, the two there is at least some remaining hope for, have been injured until the last couple of weeks. We're far more desperate for a right winger and fullbacks
