@@talkthetalk9247 Everton's home strip is a Blue shirt, the monochrome is irrelevant, they would still be wearing a dark shirt as opposed to a white one

it was FA policy in the 50s 60s and 70s that both sides changed their normal kits in FA Cup ties, If there was a colour clash. Elsewhere on Y/T is a brief clip of Everton v Kings Lynn in the FA Cup January 1962 I was at the game, Everton wore Black and Amber, the other side Red and White. During the great 1966 FA Cup run Everton wore Black and White v Bedford, Coventry, and Man City over a colour clash. The last game I saw this policy was Everton v Colchester in the 6th Round FA Cup 1971 when both teams changed from Blue. Everton Yellow and Blue, Colchester Red and White This is also on Y/T.
