It’s the last match of the season and Everton FC need to beat Wimbledon FC to guarantee their place in the Premier League. The match was played at Goodison Park on the 7th May 1994. A Dean Holdsworth penalty goal and a Gary Ablett own goal gave Wimbledon a 0-2 lead after 20 minutes. Everton came storming back to win 3-2 with Graham Stuart scoring from the spot after 24 minutes and also the winning goal in the 81st minute, Barry Horne scored the best goal of the game with his equalising goal after 67 minutes. The attendance for the match was 31,233.
