This is the best underdog story I have ever seen. Dessertvile went from being the least populated area of all the other areas to getting a over powered person, steamrolling mushroom kingdom, making peace to the mushroom kingdom and then getting two more over powered people then finally wiping out both the mushroom kingdom and junglo Bunglo to get the win.

¨it had been 30 years since the war started and almost 40 since he had acquired immortality and extreme health, when he changed his name to `winner number 3` a title that signified his victory in the arena against the chosen of the other kingdoms of his time, but time hadn´t existed for him ever since the southern realm of Jungles invaded his land, he hit the enemy swordsman with a club ending his life and so he looked around: he had been waging a slow and steady war against them, and then he swinged againt a soldier before returning to his thoughts, they had already cleared everyone else of his beloved home in the land of lemons, now he could just fight for his revenge and bloodlust...another soldier came, it slashed him and then he returned the strike with his stick killing the poor soldier, it must have been a new recruit, decades younger than himself, they must be getting desperate if they can only send their young after they kept sending army after army against him, and then too fast another slash hit him and he returned another swing at the enemy, then he recognized someone in their ranks...winner number one the first champion in history, `a worthy opponent to end me!` he exclaimed as he made a break for him and they fought, during the bout he pushed winner number one against a fire started by the enemy army, and winner number one died, well now the enemy was furious and they commited their whole forces against him, winner number 3 knew he would die, he knew all of those he fought for were long dead, he knew his kingdom was no more and all he could aspire towards was a heroic death fighting against the destroyers of his city...so he gripped his club made of wood and with a final thought of his home and loved ones went forwards into the enemy´s ranks, as he died he smiled knowing that his fight was over and his duty fulfilled, with his honor intact he went to the afterlife¨ -the final thoughts of Winner number 3 recounted through the account of his last stand during the fall of lemon land

Reply: I already know how much of a nightmare a kingdom with a king with a lot of warfare is... The armies of the kingdom already reach the enemy during war before the enemy even has their armies prepared... And stewardship would allow for a large kingdom population size and while having one kingdom with already adamantium technology while the final one is desperately trying to get all the other ones together to not fall to the war kingdom through diplomacy. It would be the goofiest situation ever.

Btw on a relatively important note with the intelligence kingdom: It usually is slow before they actively get decent technology with just traits, I usually mediate this by just pouring coffee on them every so often since it gives 200 intelligence temporarily to all citizens affected which should make them progress much more compared to the others in technology.

Next arena battle you should start with one village on an island and have a bunch of other islands that are unclaimed. Then every 10 years or so you have a battle between 4 villagers from the starting island and the winner gets to start a new kingdom on their own island and becomes immortal. Maybe wall off the starting island from the rest of the world since it will have a tech advantage or turn off kingdom expansion so they cant claim more islands or something.

Winners 4 n 5 remind me of the Magic: the Gathering card Swords to Plowshares which mechanically exiles a creature while gaining life for that creature’s controller but thematically it is a veteran soldier retiring to become a farmer (exile = retirement n life gain = harvesting crops for the kingdom) some really nice artworks for it over the years n tho the original looks kinda lame in comparison, hearing the creator talk about how they came up with the thematic imagery of the card based on just the card’s name is a beautiful pieces of introspective. I believe it is the channel Rhystic Study that did a video essay about the original art; great video.
