I Made A Tower Defense Game In WorldBox!

I created a functioning Tower Defense game in WorldBox! It worked even better than I imagined and I will definitely be doing this again!

Make a tower defense maze

For the melee units; you should put a circle for their room, and add slow speed traits like lame, and broken bone so they can't run around.

Final Boss Idea! Make a zombie with spores so that if they die they get a final phase also give them a necromancy staff ( might kill the towers ) so they can summon skeletons can and can heal and cause chaos however make him really slow so he doesn’t get to the end too fast.

You should do a sequel of this with some pre-testing cause honestly it was a lot of fun and super cool. I also think that the statues should count as lives so if a little guy gets through instead of just erasing them you would destroy one brain statue and then erase

I've a suggestion. How about the brain statues as lives? 3-5 lives should be nice, once a zombie crosses all zombies are killed and you lose a statue.

Yeah Tower Defense games always have different Maps including duck Wars with the boat map having you put Ducks inside of boats so that they can attack enemies

Damn dude, consider me subbed, that's super clever. Really opens my eyes to how difficult tower defense games must be to balance all the different interacting parts. Like props to Bloons lol, they have so many different towers and enemy types and yet those games are fairly well balanced.

I think the main difference is that Bloons doesn't really use health until later on and is probably a more casual type of tower defense game, so making all the towers balanced by making them all strong is feasible (I couldn't think of another word). I'm excited for more paragons though.

there is another td where you make a village at the tower and put the humans, elves, orcs, or dwarves and theyrun through and you change their speeds with traits and use like necromacer and mages without mods

Make like an underground world, make the whole world mountains, then put like caverns as the only way to travel through, and have big enough openings for like small villages, and make the ground in the village areas like a forest so they can have trees and what not in the big openings for the villages.

Nice video! I'd love to see another version of this. If you really wanna go all out, you can test out how much damage the "towers" deal per second and how much would it take to defeat X amount of health in X amount of time. This way, you can more easily balance the game!
