I couldn’t be prouder or more grateful to see Return to Edan here in such excellent company! From Egil’s Saga to The Fury of the Gods, so many of these reads are just the sort that inspire me. Cheers, Will!

It cracks me up every time when you play both “parts” and then a picture of Ed makes its way into the corner. Today’s picture was particularly good 😂 Your videos have kept me company many a times while doing mundane office jobs. Thank you 🙏🏻

Seeing so much love for Sword of Kaigen at the moment... FOMO is kicking in!
@Speed2022 күн бұрын
Sword of Kaigen is about marriage, love, sacrifice, loss, war, and honor. Its structure does defy the mainstream norm, but its focus on motherhood, women, and gender roles fits in line with the common theme of similar best sellers. The fact that it's kind of trapped behind the fantasy genre door, is self-published, and a hidden gem even amongst fantasy readers is unfortunate. It's an awesome story with a lot of complex themes and messages.

Hi Ed. Yeah, it was really good. I didn't realise it was a book as well at the time.

@@thebrothersgwynne I will soon. I'm working through the read along with your Discord. This is my first time reading any of your dad's books and they are amazing! I've already started on The Hunger of the Gods.

I think you and Ed will love the Hanuvar Chronicles by Andrew Howard Jones!! It is sword & sorcery fantasy based on Hannibal & the Roman Empire with the Odyssey & the Witcher thrown in. The main character had so much gravitas you just grow to love him and I am sure all the male readers want to be him.

Back in the day, I read Egil's Saga translated by ER Eddison...was so bored I wanted to dig him up and kill him again. Must be a different translation that you read...? I've now bought all of Papa Gwynne's book for my oldest grandson. He reports, and his mom confirms, he's been stuck into them. Good job, Brothers, getting Papa sales and Papaw points with my grand!

Will I loved the Land of the Living & the Dead, 4 stars with a caveat. I think the way ending, the last few chapters were disappointing. I also think I missed out big time not having the opportunity to read the novellas. I just started Fool’s Errand and so I am so happy I read the Willful Princess & the Piebald Prince.
