These are all the themes ABS-CBN has used over its almost-70 year history:
0:06-0:14: The original "Philippines' Largest Network" theme (1966 - 1972)
This is the first iteration of the jingle that goes "A-B-S-C-B-N, The Philippines' Largest Network!" It was made around 1966, by Dominic Salustiano.
0:14-0:37: Philippines' Largest Network (1986 Redux, 1986 - 1992)
This version has the pre-1972 jingle of ABS-CBN, but with just the six-tone part and none of the "Philippines' Largest Network" part, quite fitting for a network that was shut down in 1972 and found itself starting from scratch 14 years after. Remixed versions of it also appeared in music used for the promotion of the network's Millennium Transmitter towards the end of 1999 as well as for the celebration of the network's 50th anniversary in television.
0:37-1:09: Star Network theme (1987 - 1999)
Composed by Maestro Ryan Cayabyab, this soundscape also rearranged parts of the 1986 theme of the network. Cayabyab also composed theme music for ABS-CBN News in the 1990s and partook in Ryan Ryan Musikahan. Whilst officially discontinued in 1999, it appeared in one of the network's "Ikaw ang No. 1" bumper IDs in 2002, in its last known appearance.
1:09-2:06: Sarimanok theme (1993 - 1999)
Released in 1993, it accompanied the now-iconic, award-winning Sarimanok ident of the network that commemorated the 40th year of Philippine television. Alongside the Star Network theme, it was used until 1999.
2:06-4:23: Millennium theme (2000 - mid 2000s)
Another theme composed by Ryan Cayabyab, this theme played during the "ABS-CBN Worldwide Celebration of the New Millennium" countdown to 2000, accompanying a presentation of the company's history in its first five decades, and the reveal of a new logo for ABS-CBN - its biggest overhaul in 33 years. It would be used alongside the 2001 theme until the mid 2000s.
4:23-7:00: 2001 Theme (2001 - today)
The longest ABS-CBN network theme by far and the first without its "Philippines' Largest Network" jingle, this grandiose soundscape was performed the Munich Symphony Orchestra, and composed and arranged by Chicago-born producer and composer Marc Aramian. Elements of it were also integrated in a new theme for TV Patrol, which that year saw Korina Sanchez become main anchor of the newscast.
7:00-7:30: - 2001 Station ID Theme (2001 - today)
Alongside the aforementioned Marc Aramian-composed theme, ABS-CBN also rolled out a shorter, yet just as grand theme, for station IDs that same year. Integrating elements of the long 2001 theme, it also has a modernized take on the "Philippines' Largest Network" jingle which, after 15 years, was once more played in its entirety - now signifying ABS-CBN as the diversified multimedia powerhouse it has become.
