that hit by Maynard on Brayshaw was disgusting Maynard had every intention of hitting Brayshaw, he could have had his hands in front of himself and that would have protected both of them, by absorbing some of the impact, it was a CLEAR case of corruption by the tribunal it seems to me there's some favouritism towards Collingwood by the AFL

as much as i dislike maynard as a player i don’t think he would ever be that malicious, but there were def better things he could’ve done to prevent that contact

@@papleylivesrentfreeinurhead even if it was accidental it was careless to say the least and i saw a few other players did a lot less wiped out for at least a week , like Van Rooyan accidently clipped a player with his arm/elbow he got a week maynard's action was deliberate

Would like to see you fly in the air and immediately think “I need to protect the opposition player in front of me” Sure, he did aggressively push for the ball, but you can see if you want it over, his original intent was the ball. Everyone who isn’t a Collingwood supporter will say it was intented, and the same goes for a Collingwood supporter saying it was unintentional. The Tribunal came to a decision and that’s final, unfortunately the public opinion has no effect.

@@ascendingtwilight4284 exactly. there could have been better things he couldve done but he had such little time, and the most human response would to be protect ur own body. that being said since humans cant control themselves in mid air the duty of care lays in his hands, doesnt matter tho what has happened has happened
