Just a Last thing. You should really read the 8th Edition ogre armybook. Even though gorgers were just as bad, the lore is so badass i just had to converte 3 of them. Short version: those ogre Babes that arent sufficiantly fat got the spartan tretement. Exiled into a cave and driven feral through the ogres curse to be always eating. The slaughtermaster of today, was a named character .Who got hes arms cut Off by a tyrant Who had eaten his favorite gnoblar and got hes face Bitten off for it. He got the cauldron hooked to hes back and thrown to the gorger caves. He fought all contenders to the death, returning to the surface to exact vengance. Hencefort He was know as skrag the slaughterer; god to the gorgers. And anywhere He May tread a pack of gorgers are always following him. For they know that the rattle of those chains means Meat aplenty..... Dont you think that beats the stupid pg 13 version of our current battletome.

Hey man I really love your videoes but I am not an AoS player, I have some models from the old world played against some people and unforunately they don't have the menality that your people did. But I still paint stuff up. Can I give a suggestion? Why don't you do a faction break down ala bricky style rather than talking about what's good in each faction and so on. Just the lore, I know more people who are interested in just lore videos who only paint, only read or some version of don't play because I recommened all your videos to my brother but really all we care about is the lore. Because the way you talk about stuff in my kind of jam.

TBH I always thought AoS was more of an "uncle" game than a dad game. The uncle mentality of joking around, not taking things seriously and drinking heavily all reflect my AoS experience.

The funny part is AoS functions really well as a gamey, competitive, tournament game, and 40k functions really well as story driven cinematic game. Of course they are often played in the reverse.

That was in a huge three paragraph section that I deleted from the intro where I talked about how tiers are barely useful. Player skill and battleplan account for way, way more wins and losses next to what tier you happen to be in. The things we lose to keeping the video short and concise.

A few tips for anyone eyeing up Beasts of Chaos as a BoC player myself. These are based on my own experiences playing them so maybe not the best advice but it's something - Cygors aren't great, but they make for such good wizard snipers that I personally always bring at least 1. You can jam them into Alpha Beast Pack to move them up the board faster, they're (currently) cheap at 125 points, and their ranged attack is swingy but does amazing damage against something as fragile as a support wizard - Jabberslythes get an exclusive Monstrous Rampage that worsens the save characteristic of an Enemy Hero, keep one in your bag to summon in later if you don't intend to bring it in your army because if you throw them at Nighthaunt or The Light of Eltharion they suddenly start to look far less terrifying - Bring Ungor to kill off for Primordial Call points, pretty much the only thing they're actually useful for. Typically I tend to bring 2 units of 10 but even just 1 unit will do - Consider a Cockatrice for a fast, annoying harassment unit that can get you a free PC point each turn that it's alive - If you bring a Beastlord, never make him your General and only throw him at light infantry that he could more reliably take down. If he kills something he can buff up a unit which is great, but do not throw him at any Heroes, he's just too fragile to reliably come out on top against an enemy footslogger let alone something bigger Edit: Here's an extra tip: Gors are your best Battleline choice not accounting for other options you unlock via your choice of General. Ungors should only be considered for slowing down scary stuff or getting Primordial Call points, but you could bring Ungor Raiders instead if you'd prefer they be at least a tiny bit useful. Bestigor are pretty good but costly, take a Bray Shaman General for them rather than a Beastlord. Doombulls aren't half bad either and Dragon Ogors with Glaives just outright slap Here's another freebie why not, consider bringing a Chimera. Yeah they're no tanks but if you hide them decently enough you can have them run out and blast D6 Mortal Wounds at people free of Charge, then follow up with pretty good melee on top of that. I recommend throwing him at key targets as fast as possible, Alpha Beast Pack helps it a lot

(Minor) Lore correction(s): Nurgle didn't kill Alarielle, she went into mourning for all the Sylvaneth losses and cocooned before her rebirth into her war aspect. Fyreslayers are actually trying to bring back Grimnir with the Ur-Gold.. they believe collecting and using enough of it will bring him back.

Question for the comment section. I like the "hero hammer" play style on paper. Which faction would you pick if you wanted hero hammer, dense people for the objectives, and not to worried about range. Heywoah recommended STD awhile back and I wasn't a huge fan admittedly. I will be playing all recommended factions on TTS. (I gotta wait til pay day to pick the game up lol)

Only because it has like 10 units for every job and you won't know what's good at first. Aside from that they're streamlined and a lot of the harshest "only play this or you suck" has been lessened. Khorne takes the crown for bad for beginners now I think, after that STD maybe.
