32 animated movies in 1 year! This must be a new record. I remember my childhood in the 1970s, when we had 1 new animated movie every 2 or 3 years! In the other years, however, there were re-releases of old Disney movies, which we had not seen before, as there was no such thing as home media. So they were new to us. But nevertheless, there was 1 animated movie available for a few weeks every year. So having 32 new animated movies in 1 year is really amazing to me!

Sponge on the Run was released theatrically in Canada on August 14, 2020, and is set to be released in the USA on March 4, 2021 on PVOD and Paramount+. Peter Rabbit 2 will be skipping theaters in the UK and will instead release on PVOD in the aforementioned country this Friday.
