It's a play on the band N'Sync. They have a song called "It's Gonna Be Me" and the way Justin Timberlake sings it, it sounds very much like he's singing "It's gonna be May." So every April 30th, social media is flooded with memes and pictures of Justin since May 1st is just one day away. Sounds like it's just another goofy thing us Americans do!
