Assassin's Creed III is always ranked so low for some reason. Connor was a bit boring but Haytham is the best antagonist in AC history, and the overall story was really good. The combat was amazing and also didn't need dismemberment and decapitations to show just how brutal Connor was.

I loved the hunting in this game. It's still some of my favorite of the whole franchise. Although I wish that stupid glitch of not being able to kill a wolf with an arrow was fixed.

Have to disagree with you man, ac3 was the game that turned me almost entirely off to the series, the story was terrible , the marketing of the stealth during big battles scenes wasn’t anywhere near as good in the actual game , not to mention had some of the worst dlc to ever release in video game history,combat was decent but other than that , the game is straight trash

Fr when I first played ac 3 I loved it waited for midnight release for it played it non stop then years later decided to play all ac games again and 3 was so boaring and slow to replay it’s not terrible but it’s not good at all now currently playing the new ac and that’s different not sure how I feel just yet tho it does feel more like the classics but has a very modern feel to it but found myself actually watching the cutscenes and enjoying the story so far has potential

I actually really liked that game. It was the first assassins creed I ever played and it got me really into the revolutionary war. My favorite is origins bc I’m really fascinated with Egyptian history.

Happy to see AC Syndicate higher in the list; as it's one of my favorite AC games around. I love the Frye twins and the story of their raiseto power. The Penny Dreadful mini quests are the best, and the DLC was awesome

I have this game to thank for my love of Steampunk. Although I wish it's main story had more to it and that the characters were better utilized. And I'm glad that you got to play the Penny Dreadfuls. I can't. I use an XBox.

I own every main game of this franchise, I agree with mostly the order of this list, but for me personally my top 3 Assassin's Creed games are AC Odyssey, AC Black Flag, and AC 2, in that order. My reason for Odyssey being number 1 for me, is because I just love the lore of Greek mythology, and Ubisoft did an amazing job with the amount of detail when creating the world of ancient Greece. The side quests, story, the mythology and the intricate detail to the ancient Greek world was amazing to me as well as the DLC they added later. The combat system and rpg elements were like a breath of fresh air, the only thing that got on my nerves was the mercenary system, but other than that, I enjoyed AC Odyssey the most.

Totally agree. Talking with Aristotle was amazing. The landscapes were sooo beautiful. I often stopped just to watch them in the top of the mountain. What a beautiful game. Now I'm on Valhalla, and then I'll play Origins. I just stopped Origins bc of the sound of the V-vision. Odyssey's was soft, as Valhalla.

I'm an expert on Revolutionary War history. It was thanks to reading that for the first time that I became an amateur historian. And it was thanks to AC: III that I became aware of the franchise. Before hand I had no idea History could come together in anything outside of some movie or TV series.

I, II, Brotherhood, Revelations, III, IV:Black Flag, Rouge, Unity & Syndicate are my all-time favorite AC games. Even though Unity may have got a pretty rough start when it was first released back in 2014, but atleast it got fixed and improved overtime and it's a whole lot better to play now than way back then (Arno Victor Dorian is one of my personal favorite AC Protagonists/Assassins.). Same goes for Syndicate as well (The Fyre Twins are actually fun to watch and play. And also pretty funny.).

A few years ago I replayed all of the games through Unity and found that I enjoyed Unity a bit better than I did at launch (it was fine at launch for me) but it's not as good in my view as most of the other games. With that said, I pretty much agree with your list and if I were you I would play Unity now, although I recommend skipping its optional filler missions.

Unity is playable now but will piss you off given the phone app needed to use many of the games features is long since closed down. Add to that the controls feel janky as fuck and stealth feels like shit until you get smoke bombs. Upsides is the free running parts feel better being able to control up or down instead of just jump although takes extra work (another button press). Also you won’t be able to platinum this one now as you need 100% completion which is impossible with the app shutting down and co op missions which are still doable if you have a friend

2 was the beginning of my ac addiction. We're talking 17, 18 hrs each sit down until I beat it. Brotherhood was the same. Unity is my 3. I skipped syndicate, and not being able to be smooth is hindering me currently.

@@JFVideos960 on ps4 on brotherhood/ revelations you could keep the counter button ‘o’ pressed and then press square after the parry to counter. On ac3 you have to time the counter. If you just keep o held down it Doesnt work. You just defect (poorly) instead of getting the option to counter.

@@Keneo1 Buddy, you realize that you also have to time the counter in the Ezio Trilogy as well, it’s actually harder since if you mistime it you get hit by the enemy. I don’t think you’ve played either one. The only way AC3’s counterattacks could be more difficult is due to the bugginess of the game itself. But it is definitely not more difficult

@@JFVideos960 i finished brotherhood laat week, revelations yesterday and am playing ac3 right now, litteraly am replying to you during loading screens. The remasters on ps4 You did not have to time the parry in revelations only the counter. You have to time the pary and the counter in 3 Im not sure its more dificult. But it is trickier. Fights take longer. You have less options to flat out kill enemies and usualy have to wait for an attack and then pary and counter. In brotherhood/revelations the kick actualy did something and you could kill enemies without the counter and just by slashing.

Bro I'm playing Unity right now at about 50% completion. This shit is so full of glitches and bugs it might be my worst experience ever. However, the main story missions are cool, the city is great, and visuals are phenomenal for a game from 2014. Also, the main character suits this game very well. But don't tell me they fixed the game after release. They never did. It's still dogshit.

While I like AC Mirage's cast and Baghdad itself was great, the story left me kinda wanting. I feel as though I should like it more than I do, but I can't shake the feeling that Ubisoft is just spinning their wheels after the Desmond storyline ended.

A lot of short memories on here or did you all forget how unity, origins and AC3 all broke the AC community? None of the original 3 games were good and needed overhauls, updates, patches and rereleases just for them to be seen as good. 2 of them were even given away (unity dlc and AC3) to make up for their blunders, they might be good or playable now but don’t forget what the majority of people played.

Playing AC3 now and it's buggy and junky af. Many of the missions are annoying to get 100% sync, and the beginning really was as painful as they say.

I don’t see why not. Syndicate has two of the best protagonists of the franchise, the grappling is fun, Victorian England is fantastic, and being the most modern AC game has its perks

Age does not matter, AC1 has charisma on its own and its based on real history of real historical figures including the assasins. So it should not be even compared to later fiction games. Its the root of the series.

All were great in their way. But The first 6 Games were on their tier. AC to AC 4 were all great. Someone saying 3 was bad is pretty much a valhalla fan. Connor beats Eivor one armed.

Out of all the games I could not put down Origins. I thought about it all the time and still do. FInished it about a year ago and I still think about it a lot. how awesome the story was how beautiful it was game mechanics what a great game

Pretty good rsnking. The only thing id change is Valhalla would drop dead last. Combat was shocking, the grind is horrendous and its a testiment to quality over a vast amount of quantity. That being said the story was ok. Not the best but not the worst. Its the only AC game i completed for completion sake rather than enjoyment
