The gameplay in Demon Attack is just unmatched by most 2600 games. That's a game that if people shit talk the 2600 you make em play. 40 years later still fantastic looking.

The box art for some of these were the best for the 2600, as well as some of the games.... Hopefully some of these get the Recharged" treatment for consoles or at least the VCS and 2600+....

. Faves would be Demon attack and atlantis. Both absolutely brilliant games that I still play a lot

I remember playing "Atlantis" at a friend's house back in '83 or so & thinking, "Wow! You can actually see the recoil when the side cannons fire!" (Note: I was 7 years old & easily impressed)

Many of these I haven't seen before. Although I played Demon Attack and Trick Shot at a friend's house, I had (or "have" in storage) Alantis and Dragonfire, which I enjoyed, but - unfortunately, at that age (eleven or twelve) I had begun experiencing aura migraines and I associated the Atlantis game with it from one coming on at the time of playing it. I'm hoping that there aren't many others reading this who can relate to that, but I sympathize with those who may. Oh, there was another game called Threshold (by Tigervision in an orange cartridge) that I had to stop playing as well because of the similarity of colors flashing on the screen that were like the visual aspect of the headaches. This is really fun to read, isn't it? (haha) Anyway, thanks for the video compilation. It's appreciated.

i had to stop to play to 3d environment based or first person games, since wolfenstain came out, caus they give me nausea. pity, i won't get rich in the modern game streaming business

@@pierrecason I'm sorry to hear that,. In relation to it, I had to stop playing Might and Magic on my old pc years ago, since it began giving my eyes pain, which lead to headaches. Oh, and auto racing games - forget it (Ha). I can handle the old Enduro game from Activision on occasion, thankfully, but anything remotely modern - no way, it's not worth the risk. (I know this probably sounds crazy to many people.) I made the mistake of playing the retro Atari collection on a widescreen TV for Super Breakout, and my eyes hurt for at least two days afterwards. I haven't played it since. As for Castle Wolfenstein, I used to play the 2d (Return to Castle Wolfenstein) version on the Atari 800xl, and it was great.

Yes, I have all 72 commercial games CIB plus loads of the after market releases, homebrews and prototypes. It's the Game Gear that really suffers from dodgy caps, not the Lynx.
