Base building is weak right now we need a third tier wall if wood walls is 1 sheet metal is 2. 3erd would be well I can only imagine those skids of bricks found on construction sites will be utilized and a mortar mix would need to be made with bag of limestone 3 burlap sacks of sand 2 burlap sacks of small stones and 1 Jerry can of waterb¹

I only play on vanilla servers and I've started building bases in the one town, multiple gates with metal lower wall and 4 dial combination locks. Nothing but a crate in the last area with the word HI made up out of single seeds and nails.

As a solo player, I once built a base with 5 layered medium gates to the treasure. Big groups will always find a way to get in, if they are determined enough.

Had a 16 layer bas in Cherno apartments way back in the day… needless to say we all logged in that morning to a full raid and dozens and dozens of ruined melee weapons on the ground 😂😂 a bit of determination and even the rats can get into anything

The real way too keep your loot safe is multiple alt accounts with the valuables , build a base with just some clothes and food in and let the enemy waste they’re supplies raiding an empty base

I now tried something different, it took awhile to get all the stuff i needed, but i build my base in the Contaminated Zone at the post office building, Now they have more or less a time limit depending on how many Gas Filter they carry, but still id say abit harder to Raid... hopefully.

Pick and mix or just dropping a pile of grenades then unpin and drop the last grenade to set off the ones on the ground, sometimes bullet raids with akm or vaiga when we have excess ammo because we don't use those guns or ammo.

Build a watchtower base directly in front of someone else’s base. So they can’t enter or leave until they raided you

They can just dismantle it if they are outside. If they’re inside, they can kill themselves, respawn, come back, dis mantle tower, go back into base and pick up loot. So your troll is pretty worthless

You left out "brute forcing" the 3 pin code locks. It is very easy. I prefer starting at 999 and working my way down through every number. Really its best to start at 900, do 900-910 then 910-920 ect... Then once your done with the 900's start at 800...

​@TokeThenJoke It's actually faster to brute force a 3 digit, than anything else. If your unlucky It'll take 30 min for you to get in, you cannot find explosives and bring them to the base in that time.

for the claymores, it seems to work better to have them further back than where you placed them. from personal exp. with upper half metal, lower half wooden, it took four of them to be able to clear the wall. it's better to stack them one behind the next, in order - and only the last one will detonate, but trip the others and make a massive fuck all explosion! I prefer them to grenades because I can't get killed by mistake, I also love the M79 with explosive rounds...OP!

you dont need the cooking pot. just drop 5 grenades on the ground by the gate. then unpin and drop the 6th and run. cooking pot works better if its in a spot you cant run away easy.

Raided bases with most of these methods but idea I came up with to defend was double watchtower one then another 180 degrees the opposite way to completely enclosed the roof aspect and then place a fence inside the watchtower and another staggered to the left or right and double camo net internally. The watchtowers completely dark you can stand with your scope through it as if there’s no nets and nobody can see you even in full sun.

A couple of improvised stick shelters and a barrel or woodencrate out in some forest built on top of a couple of chopped down bushy christmas trees and shrubbery is how I dont get easily raided.

There's other methods too: Building a raid tower, parkour, code cracking, shooting the frame from an exposed angle, and of course brute force with melee. Any object you can punch with does damage to the wall, not just melee weapons. I've done it all. I can remember maybe 80 of my raids.

Chainsaw is the quieter way to go if don’t want people sneaking up or alerting the owners just need electric repair kits but if u hit it a gate it won’t break the code lock so it’s only good if u hit walls but the grenade trick is my favorite way to hit bases

The chainsaw isn't vanilla though. Can be spawned in but doesn't work properly. And allows you to raid the old way.

Well can’t use the greande launcher one slight downside to someone’s base is they could a)combat log or b) drop loot into a box and then die without losing loot and weight for you guys to leave or worst ambush you whilst u waiting for gas to clear but the greande pot and the plastic explosive are winner winner chicken dinner

I know a guy who has developed a small "tool" which he uses to cycle through lock combinations without having to sit infront of his computer. He just goes to the door with his bambi account, activates the script and all possible combinations from 0000 to 9999 will be tried out within 2 hours (mostly its faster due to the high probability of a low or middle starting number). I told him I wouldn't use it as it might be considered as cheating if admins found out, but it still seems like a pretty effective and stealthy raiding method, as you could sneak in and out an enemy base as often as you like, as long as you dont change the code...

Bro I became friends with a group of 15 people on a community server for like 3 months before they gave me access to the gates and such. I then wrote the codes down and betrayed them by locking myself in a room with a metal gate, wearing an nbc suit and mask, and then started to chuck pox grenades

How do you raid by stalking a player? Guess you could wait to kill them just as they open their base. Otherwise you’re just killing someone’s outside their base and then can’t get in. Not really a raid but might not get what you mean?

Do the 40mm grenades actually explode if you set them on the ground and then set off a secondary explosion? Like if I drop some 40mm grenades and n the ground and then drop a frag on the ground next to them will the frag explosion trigger the 40mm’s to explode as well?
