powerful is out! also i think jacks is a villain in the caraval series?? he's definitely softer in ouabh. Speaking of ouabh, evangeline is even dumber than scarlett or tella so..idk if you'll like it lol. its definitely more fast paced.

Oh man yeah I thought The Midnight Library was soooo overhyped. I was very underwhelmed. And I hope you end up reading the Hunger Games at some point!! I've read so much YA & fantasy since that series and nothing compares. It still holds up SO well

Matt Haig is pronounced hey-g 😊 The Midnight Library was generally loved when it came out so I find it refreshing to hear someone who has similar feelings to it as I did. I am willing to try more of his books but I’m not in any particular rush.

🍓 i read caraval last summer and i enjoyed it but for some reason even though the other two in the series are sitting on my shelf, i just can’t get myself to pick them up 😂

Even if it was just you that didn’t get on with Caraval, it isn’t a problem. We all like and relate to things differently. It is good to feel like you can relate but it’s not the be all end all. 😊

In the world of booktube the midnight library is pretty old. A lot of booktubers I watch at least, tend to talk about recent or more recently released books, partially, I assume because of algorithms.
