It's so rare to hear a male reader talk about the books he's read! I'm glad someone shared your channel with me! I'm currently reading "It Ends with Knight" by Yasmin Angoe which is the third book in a trilogy. It's about an African assassin who be killing folks who threaten The Tribe of African Nations (I think I might've been one in my former life).

So often we get caught up in reading challenges, especially when seeing other people who read 100+ books a year. It can lead to feeling like we're not really "readers" if we aren't reading an outrageous number of books. But what's important is reading when it makes sense for you and going at your own pace! 19 books so far is a great place to be ❤

Thank you for sharing your love for reading and your experiences. I’m an SA Cosby stan as well. He has quickly become one of my favorite and auto buy authors. His books cover such heavy topics. Then you will mix it up with a lighter romance. That’s fantastic. Your perspective on 1984 was spot on. I’ve picked up The Handmaid’s Tale as a reread to see how much of it resonates today. Wow. Great selection of books! I love S.A. Cosby too! He knows how to pull the reader into the story and take them on a wild ride. His writing is raw, gritty, intense, and darkly atmospheric. His characters are good people who do bad things and you can’t help liking them. I recently read that Blacktop Wasteland and Razorblade Tears have been optioned for movies.
